What are these called?

The #eeg #electrodes do not play nice with your skin. That was a rather uncomfortable three-day experience and it makes me empathetic for the people who were not predisposed to become lifelong learners. I understand why I had to go through this--the neurobiology, the electro-chemical processes, the importance of potassium and sodium, the salt in the sweat on my skin, the conductive agent, the wires, the electrode cups, the baseline of eyes open and closed... There are pains which are completely explainable that need not accompaniment by the mysteries of your mind.

And the #eeg comes off today. I hope nothing is wrong but I hope something comes from this. Just had a good breakfast. Got permission to start removing it myself.
