First person to say “Mine now” in the ask box owns me for 2 hours.
Hey Erik ,wanna go to the range with me I'm bored as fuck and need something to do.
Yeah, sure, why-- ... Woah. Last I checked, you had boobs-- and a fetus... I know I wasn't drunk. What the Hell happened?
[ OPEN ] The Cake Is A Lie
Erik paused, raising his brows. This man had an ability like that? … Well, hot damn. He’d actually the guy as an IT guy or maybe the janitor. “Really?” he hummed, looking genuinely impressed. He took care to swallow the bite of cake he had in his mouth before continuing. “What sort of power do you have, Fry?”
“Technopathy,” Fry said before taking a hefty bite, finishing it he continued, “Like telepathy, but with tech and machines. I can hack stuff with my mind.” Hacking with his mind had far less complications than hacking with a computer; firewalls weren’t much against against him. He figured the man, from that explanation alone, would understand why SHIELD had recruited him - rather determinedly at that.
Erik let out a low whistle of approval, nodding slowly. "Damn, son... A right nice ability to have, especially around here," he said, focusing back on his cake with a chuckle. "Heh... I bet Stark would hate you."

Erik chuckled and nodded, shifting to get himself some of the cake. “Black Ops,” he said casually with a shrug. Turning to face him, he folded the napkin neatly under the plate he had and offered a small smile. “Psi, eh? What exactly do you fellas do?”
“Psi is all the agents, or most of the ones, that have some sort of psychically based ability,” Fry’s tone was vaguely careful with his words as he took a bite of his own slice of the cake. Though, part of him would not be surprised if some of the Psi-guys were sent on missions with some of the other Divisions due to their own specific specialities. For all Fry knew, he could one day be sent off with Black Ops, it would hardly surprise him, he could see the potential of his ability there.

“Erik Cross,” the agent introduced, returning the smile and taking his hand in a firm shake. “Getting old does ‘blow’, but it happens… Happy birthday, by the way, man.”
“It’s a pleasure, and thanks,” Fry’s smile shifted to more of a grin, and a curiosity about the other struck him, “What Division do you work? I mean, you don’t have to say if you don’t want to. I’m in the Psi-Division, myself.”
Erik chuckled and nodded, shifting to get himself some of the cake. "Black Ops," he said casually with a shrug. Turning to face him, he folded the napkin neatly under the plate he had and offered a small smile. "Psi, eh? What exactly do you fellas do?"

“No, no, no, no you don’t, buddy… If I have to be shown as nearing forty, you can handle being thirty, Grandpa,” he teased.
“Well, that just blows,” Fry gave a nervous laugh and smile to the man, “Not sure we’ve met, by the way. Fry Wheaton.” He offers the other his hand, smile growing more confident than nervous.
"Erik Cross," the agent introduced, returning the smile and taking his hand in a firm shake. "Getting old does 'blow', but it happens... Happy birthday, by the way, man."

“You’re a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, aren’t you? There somethin’ I can do for you?”
Erik hesitated, watching him. Was he not a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent...? "Yeah, I am... There's not much you can do unless you can hand me my next target's head on a platter... Agent Erik Cross, nice to meet you."

“I wonder if I hack SHIELD’s network it’ll be like I didn’t just turn 30 years old.”
"No, no, no, no you don't, buddy... If I have to be shown as nearing forty, you can handle being thirty, Grandpa," he teased.

“Felix Barton, you are?”
"Agent Erik Cross..." Erik said slowly, looking the girl over with suspicion. "Barton, you say... Who's your kin?"

Clint Barton.
What can I do for you?
If you’re answer is paperwork or anything down that road..
I suggest you find a man named Sterling.
Erik laughed to himself a little and nodded some. "Yeah... Yeah, that sounds about right. Ain't got any paperwork, though, so you're clear, Birdboy, though you know all that procrastination to your own paperwork's gonna catch up to you one day."

((Take your time, dear. I’m fine with waiting.))
Thanks so much for your patience with my fails. I got you responded to!

“… Agent Erik Cross. Who’s askin’?”
“I am… Oh God not another again. Are you guys ever going to leave me alone? I don’t need to introduce myself if you’re an agent.”
"Well, this may come as a shock to you, but it's not my express job to know the names and faces of every asshole that's on S.H.I.E.L.D.'s radar," Erik said coolly then lifted a brow at him. "Now, unless you've done something wrong, you don't have anything to worry about."

“No, sir. Just… looking around. Not really here much.”
He quirked a brow at the sir. “Yes, well, perhaps you should look elsewhere.”
Erik watched the other man with a distinctly unimpressed expression as the coldness he found there. "Yes, well... The only people who ever tell me that are those hiding something and assholes... Mind enlightening me?"

“Not a damn thing… It wouldn’t be so sad if I had anything to actually go do.”
“Good. Drinks it is. Grab your coat sparky, we’re going out.”
"Oh, my G-- no, Barton..." Erik groaned, covering his face to hide the slight grin that tried to appear on his lips. "What? Why? And Sparky? What?"
“You’re due soon,” he said quietly, his eyes dropping back down to her belly. The thought made his stomach turn. His brother, a… mother? Sure, he’d go with that. Trying his best not to make a face, he looked back up and forced a smile. “Well, good… We need all the good agents out in the field, not on leave.”
“Next couple weeks or something.” She smirked a bit and watched every little reaction that Erik had. Every little moment where the man seemed to try to hide something from Clint. “Well, now that all depends if they let me back out. I’ve had a bad mission before all this happened. And the Director isn’t to happy with me.”
Erik had hoped that he was disguising that he was hiding things from Clint but then again, he was too terribly worried about it; every agent had something to hide, right? He let the grin on his lips casually fall some, not really having to feign concern when she mentioned a bad mission. "Shit... What happened? Or is that classified?"

"Hello THERE! How are you today?" welcoming smile lingers on her lips. Giving him a curious look over. He seemed familiar, odd. Lillian waved it off.
Erik returned the smile politely. "Hello... Oh, I'd say I'm doing okay. How are you, miss?"
