randy bradley is really a psychological marvel because what do you mean this kid accidentally causes a horrible accident, had his main takeaway be it's bad for him to want or do anything and any act of his will is evil, spent years trying to be as passive as possible so that no one will get hurt because of him again, then his coworker brutally murders his three other coworkers, says "oh yeah I killed them because of you. because you're so passive and never want or do anything," gets kidnapped and psychologically tortured by this guy for a day, and somehow swings around and becomes a normal well balanced person afterwards. what a guy.

really struck by how claudia grieving madeleine seems to be the thing that gets most to lestat during the seance. he only starts to cry when claudia tells them that she can’t find her companion, that’s she’s been alone this entire time. and of course this is what would get to him. the thing he fears the most is loneliness. so knowing that his daughter found a companion only to lose her again in death. it’s devastating
