Dorama Time

Doramatize is a Tumblr for a variety of Asian drama quotes, recaps, thoughts, etc. Feel free to take a look and see if there is anything of interest. Updates are pretty random as they depend on when I have free time. Doramatize is a silly concoction of the words dorama and 'crunch-a-tize'. Dorama is the Asian way of pronouncing 'drama' and crunch-a-tize is from the cereal character Cap'n Crunch.

Ending Comparisons

Jade Palace Lock Heart 宫-锁心玉 (2011)  Eighth Prince suddenly appears in modern time as himself. Even though this series isn’t an official adaptation of the novel, it takes place during the same era, involves similar characters, and overall similar plot. Think of this series as a fanfiction of some sort. I just felt like including this ending since I saw it before BBJX and I’ve enjoyed all versions of this story.

Startling By Each Step 步步惊心 (2011) Fourth Prince reincarnate(?) appears in the Qing Dynasty exhibit. He’s also the guy who hit her with his car lol. He realizes he doesn’t have a handkerchief for her to wipe her tears so he walks away awkwardly.

Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo 달의 연인 : 보보경심 려  (2016) Fourth Prince doesn’t physically appear in modern time at all. From the images circulating the internet, it seems the scene of some version of Wang So in modern time was filmed but was cut in the aired version.
