It was still unusual for Max to actually be in Annaâs, an irony he could appreciate given that he owned the place. He wanted to be around more, wanted to do what he could to ensure it was a success, but even now he was still working on improving his health. Ironic really, when he had never actually been ill in the first place. Still, it managed to keep going without him this long, a few more weeks as he did recover, and then he would ensure it had a long life. He had to.
âThanksâ he replied, just needing to sit to drink the coffee, if only for a few moments. Mostly as he could feel himself getting a little light headed. Withdrawals really were a nightmare, especially given the circumstances for them. âWell, if it helps at all, pretty sure I am always shit companyâ he replied with a smile. âJust needed to catch my breath I suppose, didnât think it would be so busyâ not like he was really complaining about that.Â
âNot a problem. Honestly, I just needed a cup of coffee before my shift tonight. Might as well offer up my seat if I wonât be using it for long, you know?â, Dorian mused, offering the other a smile as he took another sip from the contents inside his mug. His coffee was scolding, and that almost always brightened up his day, due to the fact it woke him up enough to get the job done. âIâm guessing its because the holidays, but donât quote me on that? I just know things get crazy around here when Christmas, and Thanksgiving pop up.â.
All Dorian could do was chuckle at his comment, at least another soul that felt like they werenât the best company -- so fat though, the man in front of him didnât seem so bad. âWell then I guess weâre both in the same both, eh?â, Dorian smiled his way lifting his mug into the air as if to give off a toasting type of vibe. âDorian, nice to meet ya.â, he extended his other hand to shake.
