logo trouble.

i posted an ad on craigslist not too long ago advertising free graphic design work. i was really excited after a potential client contacted me who was the "CEO of an underground music label."

my cup of tea i thought.

he goes on to tell me their name is "CottonMouff Recordz." They are a hip hop/rap music label. He wants a cotton mouth snake, pot leaf, and blunts in the logo.

Obviously it needs to be more simplified.

I took the challenge.

& what a challenge it is.

I have some good ideas, but I'm having some difficulty with it.

So I thought I'd take a break from looking at pot leaves and snakes then rant about it on tumblr.

Sigh.

well thanks! :) i've got almost 2 years in the field.. have a long way to go. i think the more design friends you have the better :)

For my media design project we have to think of and design a circus. I'm doing star wars circus with yoda as the ring master. Right now the only thing we're working on is designing a logo. This still needs work, but it's my favorite thus far. So excited!

today i got a new job as a waitress, took photos with my little duder, bought a shit ton of groceries, attended the local open mic night, and bought 5 lottery tickets.

i am now (supposed to be) working on my print production homework & watching walking dead with my boyfran.

it has been a perfect kind of day.

even though i'm going to be so busy between work, school, homework, my little duder, my boyfriend, and cleaning my house, i'm so thankful that i have all these things, and all these opportunities to do these things & have all these wonderful people in my life.

-i'm sure my grammar is horrible.. that's why i'm an art student ;)

just a random post i guess, about me loving my life.
