Hiyo, I'm Dragon! My pronouns are He/They and I'm a 30 something Trans queer. I stream three days a week; playing a lot of rpgs while babbling about my OCs, cats, writing, and whatever else the ADHD pulls out of my brain.

This is my current stream schedule (with occasional temporary hiatuses as coursework demands while I work on getting my degree.)

Currently playing: Final Fantasy XIII-2 (edit: 1/3/2026)

Been playing all the Final Fantasy games in numerical order (except FFIX since I don’t own it) because I've always wanted to.

I also periodically do Dragon Age and Mass Effect series playthroughs as well as roll around in Guild Wars 2 sometimes because they're my favorite.

there are so many words to use in place of “penis” in regards to smut. there’s dick. or shaft. we got cock. member. organ. length. hell, even manhood! all are acceptable replacements.

but what do we have for the testicles? nuts? no thank you. ballsac or, lord forbid, just sac? i’d literally rather be tarred and feathered. using their government name and just calling them testicles? take me out back and gimme the ol’ yeller treatment.

how has the english language evolved so much yet we have no acceptable word for testicles in a sexy context? how can we claim we’ve advanced as a society when the best word for describing when two characters are fucking nasty and the noble and mighty testes are swaying about is balls?

Be a voter. Find everything you need to vote in your state's next election.

I know it's easy to feel hopeless right now; god knows I was crying my eyes out for a good chunk of last night, but if there's even a shred of action we can take, we can't let it slip by.

I'm already seeing advice from people in the US to purchase queer books and other banned or "controversial" books on paper as a way to combat the wave of government censorship that is coming. While this is a good idea (it is! absolutely!), it's not accessible to everyone, and truly, we're not going to be able to consumerism our way out of this one.

If you can buy the books, do. Whether you can buy the books or not, borrow them from your library.

Borrow the paper versions. Borrow the ebook or audiobook versions. Request the titles you want that your library doesn't have. The more a title circulates or is requested, the better librarians are going to be able to defend keeping it if and when it's ever challenged.

Use libraries like @queerliblib too. The more members they have, the better they'll be able to fundraise.

Your community resources depend on you using them. Borrow the books before they go away.

InB4: Piracy is not the solution here. We're trying to keep community resources available, not make sure individual people can read individual books. Different problems.

The books are still available. Borrowing them from your library and returning them on time and in good condition will help keep them that way.
