This morning, I woke up due to a nightmare. It didn’t feel like a long one, but it was enough to startle me awake and instantly start crying. All that happened was that I lost my cat. (In a brutal, but probable, way). I woke up with waterfall like tears and you know where my cat was? On my chest, nuzzling my face and wrapping his paws around my neck like he was hugging me. He sat there and let me hug him close to me tightly as I bawled because I was afraid he was taken from me. Now, part of me feels ashamed that I suffered a mental breakdown because I lost my cat in a nightmare. Only because I can see the judgmental looks from people and hear them say “He’s just an animal.” This animal, this cat, stays by my side when I’m sick, constantly gives me affections when I’m depressed, notices my signs of depression just as well as my husband does and shows concern when I’m leaving my apartment and I’m not feeling well. Honestly, I thought I saved him when I took in a stray. And he probably thinks that too. But he’s been there for me better than most people I know. He may not speak, but he tells me every day that he loves me just as often as my husband does.
Abusive parents can say “I love you”
Abusive parents can give their kids an allowance, gifts, toys and nice things sometimes.
Abusive parents can seem like parent of the year to outsiders.
Abusive parents can defend their children from outside threats and get them in all the best schools and programs and deal with school bullies.
Abusive parents are still abusive, regardless of the things they get right or the nice things they sometimes do.
I feel like society normalizing mothers screaming and being angry at their children as long as they don’t beat them because ‘mothers love you more than anyone else’ should stop. It hurts victims of emotional and verbal abuse because they are told to keep loving their mothers since they “don’t abandon you, give you a roof, food, and clothing” and it makes them unable to identify if they’re being abused or try to fight back because “she still loves me.” Such things really have to stop.

What people don't understand about abusive parents
What people don’t understand about abusive parents is that we can’t always hate them. We can’t just constantly hate them because a lot of them are quite nice half the time. It makes it hard to hate them because it’s like “they’ve been horrible to me but they treated me to a present yesterday or a cute little chocolate bar so I’d me rude to hate them because of what they’ve done for me” and it’s destroys your mind because then people questions if they actually are abusive when you seen to like them at that time.
Reblog if you have ever fallen in love…………….with a fictional character.
@perfectorphan29
Just an experiment. Reblog if you actually give a fuck about male victims of domestic violence and rape.
Of fucking course
What sick bastard doesn’t
“You’d be surprised”, said Xaldien, who just lost four followers and received a lovely “men can’t be raped” anon shortly after reblogging this the first time.
Yowch, disgusting.
If I don’t reblog this, assume I’m dead.
If you don’t, please just unfollow me, because I don’t want those ideals on my blog.
Will forever reblog

Why is it cute and trendy for girls to wear men’s flannel shirts and baggy boy’s sweatpants, but when a boy tries to wear anything remotely close to girl’s clothes, they are considered “girly” or “gay”?
Do you know why?
Do you want to know why?
Because our society thinks its degrading to be feminine.
GIVE THIS THING AS MANY NOTES AS POSSIBLE. EVERYBODY MUST SEE THIS AND HAVE IT ON THEIR BLOG. HOLY SHIT.
No its because most boys look ridiculous in girls clothes, but girls look decent in “boyfriend” clothes. Stop trying to make EVERY THING into some form of female oppression.
It’s not “boyfriend” clothes. Clothes do not inherently have gender, they are pieces of fabric and no one cares about your hetero insertions. There was a time when it was normal for young men to wear dresses, clothing was much more gender neutral.
Cute little boys in their boy dresses!
And dresses and skirts look fine on men:
In different cultures around the world different items of clothing are worn that in many countries would be seen as feminine:
And they all look fabulous as fuck, like wow!
The only reason you think so now is because you are socialised differently. Which is ok, that happens, but when you assert things as facts and don’t look at any of the culture behind them you looking like an anal fissure.
Do not project your issues onto other men, men can wear whatever the fuck they want and look fabulous as hell.
YES YES YES!
This is relevant to my interests.

Lol, like Aqua didn’t do anything wrong in Birth by Sleep. Yes, just blame it all on Terra, Ven, and Eraqus.
