It's fun when the robot character in the sci-fi show gets cut in half because nobody working on this type of media knows anything about robotics and you never know what you're going to find inside. Green printed circuit boards? Meat and viscera, but like in a weird colour? Just a shitload of goo?

I especially like it when the robot appears to have realistic musculature which operates via contraction, suggesting some sort of fluid-driven or shape-memory-based actuation, and then it gets dismembered and a bunch of random gears and sprockets go flying everywhere.

got an old typewriter and have started writing letters to friends!

it's an almost 90 year old manual typewriter, mint condition, and a gift from someone. needs a new ribbon though since the original was, well, almost 90 years old, but it was just functional enough to write one letter!

I've been having a rough one!

Still working on getting my Google accounts back. Losing my Youtube, Drive, Docs, etc. has been really horrible. So many memories, comic scripts, videos and notes to myself from the last 20 years just - gone! I usually try to keep things backed up, but I'm finding out I was much less diligent than I thought & that's very fun.

Headmates: Simple and understandable to most folks

The Idiots In My Brain: Grumpy and usually used by Ruby but sure gets the point across

The Others: Does not make sense to most folk but some get it

Them: More points for being completely opaque! Why does any 1 in here use this?? (Note: this is "them" being used as a noun, not a pronoun.)

The Creatures In My Brain / The Creatures: Yep. That's descriptive alright. Not all of us are really creatures but we've all got the Creature vibe so it works.

My Friends: Stealth mode. Who are my friends? Where are they? Irrelevant!

The People Who Won't Shut Up!!: Another Ruby classic. And tbh any of the rest of us when it gets really loud in here...

I'm sure there's something else I've forgotten!

Plurality Over Time - Ask Game

Hi! I made another ask game since folks liked the last one. This one is oriented towards folks who've been plural for a while and would like to talk about how their plural experience has changed over time. However, there are no rules around how old or experienced you and your system have to be. If these questions resonate with you, then you can participate!

As before, all systems are welcome to participate as long as you respect the spirit of the post and don't drag discourse onto it. Feel free to copy and paste this wherever with or without credit, a bunch of these questions were lifted from other places anyway. I tried to pick or at least phrase questions to be as inclusive as possible, but I've almost certainly missed things - plurality is diverse and my system only experiences a small corner of it.
