Legitimately just had one of the worst meals of my entire life. I am still sitting here, trying to come to terms with what I just put inside my body. The orange chicken was drenched in what I can only call a carcinogenic slime. It tasted like how bug spray smells. I felt myself actively eroding the more of it I ate, but shit, it was $16 bucks. I kept going in spite of myself. I should've known better. The chlorine they call sauce seeped into every spongey pore of the chicken's squishy exterior. Despite the uncooked batter bathing in liquid cum, the chicken itself was a dry, chewy muskrat texture, that forced you to choke up even the smallest pieces that you dared to swallow. The honey sesame chicken was an ice-cold cat's tongue, and the associated veg was mildewy and brown. If you could cook the flavor of rot into something, then that's what they did to this food. I am not even joking, the chow mein tasted like a cigarette. I imagine they dumped an entire fucking bottle of liquid smoke into the noodles just to hurt and hopefully kill me. I can't imagine good people making food like this. Everyone there was a hateful, hateful person.

The only good thing I can say about this experience is that I learned a horrific lesson. Thank you, Panda Express.

when the months of medications were finally finished and tests showed him cured of FIP, he actually got really frustrated with me bc he thought I was forgetting. he’d just sit on his weighing scale and stare at me balefully.

apparently this is not common knowledge among punk diy sewists but if you’re sewing patches / doing any sewing that requires pushing a needle through multiple layers of fabric, use a needle grip. they’re little rubber things that have excellent grip on the metal needle so you don’t have to pinch the needle as hard. you will save your fingers soooo much unnecessary pain.

there’s two main types. the basic type is just a little circle of rubber that you fold around your needle, and the fancier type is a little rubber cap for your fingertips. they’re very cheap, under five bucks for the fancier kind and less for the basic, and they last forever. you can buy nice ones from your local craft store or steal them from the quilting section walmart idc. if you’re in a pinch (pun intended) and can’t go out, if you have a non-slip mat under a rug, cut off a little corner and that will work decently. please treat your fingers kindly <3

Save your teeth, get a rubber thimble. Keep a pair of needle-nosed pliers in your sewing kit. Hell, in a pinch, a vinyl or nitrile glove will work. Just don’t use your teeth!
