With my headcanon that Fredo loves cats because it reminds him of his childhood and Vito I feel like he'd be very accommodating for the cat and the visual of that made me really happy. He should get to feed the cat a treat methinks.

Cazale memorabilia that I got to view in the NYPL special collections. Mostly his off-off Broadway work in Line (where he got scouted to play Fredo). Also some press about Arturo Ui, which was the penultimate time he collaborated with Al Pacino. All the reviews were dubious about Al but had high praise for John, lol. (The archive has a reel-to-reel sound recording of their last rehearsals together, for 'The Local Stigmatic', but I was gutted to find out it's unavailable until it's digitized). Directly behind my head is the stage where Cazale and Meryl Streep performed Measure for Measure. You can get free tickets for the Shakespeare in the Park plays if you stand in line for them early in the morning. Anyway I'm having a great time and will resume normal posting soon!! 💌

Also, generally speaking the entire confrontation between Moe Greene and Michael has got to have been truly hellish from Fredo's perspective…Just imagine it.

You think you have a regular business meeting with your business partner and your brothers, you're not really expecting anything too out of the ordinary…

And then, everyone start talking about you like you're not even there, with zero concern for your own opinion on the situation. They start exchanging details about your personal affair, the secrets you clearly find humiliating, your sex life like all of those are just casino chips they can use to score points against each others. Even the brother who is ostansibly defending you is still talking about you as if you were not even in the room with him. You ask for your big brother's help and that's when you learn that the whole structure of the family business has been changed and that nobody felt the need to inform you of it. And once it's all said and done, your baby brother makes you leave the room with your extremely enraged business partner who is known to have physically hurt you, showing no care for what he's gonna say or do once you're alone together in another room...

A bullet through the head is significantly less painful as far as I'm concerned, not even kidding.
