I asked ChatGPT to write me a horror story with chocolate and TV.
The result:
“It was a dark and stormy night, and Sarah was home alone. Her parents had gone out of town for the weekend, leaving her to fend for herself. As she sat on the couch, snacking on some chocolate and watching TV, she began to feel uneasy.
Suddenly, the TV screen flickered and went black. Sarah tried to turn it back on, but it wouldn't respond. She got up to check the cords and plug, but everything seemed to be fine. That's when she noticed that the chocolate bar she had been eating was missing a few pieces.
She shrugged it off and went back to the couch, hoping the TV would start working again. But as she sat down, she heard a strange noise coming from the kitchen. It sounded like something was moving around in the cabinets.
Sarah slowly walked over to the kitchen and opened the cabinets. To her horror, she saw that her chocolate stash had been completely emptied. But what scared her even more was the fact that there was a dark, gooey substance smeared all over the counters and floor.
Suddenly, the TV flickered back on, and a grainy, distorted image of a figure appeared on the screen. Sarah could barely make out the features of the figure, but it appeared to be made entirely out of chocolate.
The figure began to speak, in a voice that was low and raspy. "You have eaten my brethren," it said. "Now, I will consume you."
Sarah tried to run out of the house, but the doors and windows were all locked from the inside. She was trapped, with the chocolate creature closing in on her. As it approached, it began to grow, towering over her with its massive, chocolatey body.
Sarah screamed and closed her eyes, bracing herself for the worst. But when she opened them again, she found herself lying on the couch, with the TV working perfectly fine.
She thought it was all just a nightmare, until she noticed a half-eaten chocolate bar on the coffee table. And as she took a closer look, she saw that there was a small, sinister smiley face carved into one of the pieces.”
