If you turn up to any progressive organising, Food Not Bombs chapter, social justice protest movements, socialist kitchens etc. you'll find so many vegetarians and vegans, and even among those who eat animals, just about everyone is positive about veganism or are at least trying to reduce their consumption.

Then you log into Tumblr.com and are presented with the most conservative, bizarrely regressive takes on animal rights coming from self-described radical leftists. I see people with anarchist profile pictures parroting literal animal agriculture corporate propoganda, and that post will be shared by ten of thousands of other people who no doubt also see themselves as progressive... I don't know if this is just a USA vs. Europe phenomenon but leftist Tumblr doesn't seem to have gotten past where it was in 2010 when it comes to animal rights.

I've been looking up acl recovery because mine has been real weak since the marathon training but all of this stuff is stuff i already do.
