I also really enjoy the scene where Vax takes Keyleth’s dad aside before the ceremony, just to tell him how much he wishes Korren could’ve been there to see the amazing things his daughter’s accomplished. It’s really sweet. And then Korren sort of instinctively tousles Vax’s hair and immediately gets embarrassed, but Vax is just, yup, this is the nearest thing to a father-son moment I’ve ever had in my life. It’s so sweet and awkward and sad.
