Somebody save him! He's merely a 50+ year old child, can't be burdened with the responsibilities of an interdimensional being!
guess who started thinking abt half life again,,,,
I'm So Cuuute :3
Cut conversation from EP2. Thoughts?
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT????? valve b like "yeah thats some nice dialogue that clarifies things, cut it"
RIGHTT?? I'm like a big Judith fan, so when I first found out abt this I was like "why was it cut?? It fits!!"
Tbh I RLLY wish they kept it in. It explains how she ended up in the "double agent role", as well as the fact that Alyx STILL has some beef with her. Which,, is completely fair!
Idk I wish more was done with Judith in general, she's such an interesting character but Valve barely expands on anything with her :')

disjointed thoughts but given how much american media uses soviet aesthetics as a shorthand for 'evil empire', there's a certain charm to how the environment of HL2 flips it simply by being set in bulgaria and having the areas of human resistance be mostly housing blocs and the public spaces adjacent to it. i can't put my finger on it exactly but i struggle to think of any western mainstream depiction that "humanizes" the arquitecture of dense public housing in that regard except maybe attack the block (2011)
