And I've got an crazy idea-canon thingy, Will was confused about his feelings about Mike but deep inside him he always knew that he loves Mike not in a friendship way and then Eleven shows up, out of nowhere, and Eleven "stoles" Mike from Will or at least any chance that Will could have with Mike(Will's perspective), so when the Byers move to Chicago, Will finds Ralph and hook up with him and, of course Will didn't know that Eleven find him attractive but the Duffers migth do this for all the pain Will felt about Mileven, so I went on Google and searched where did he grow up and he grew up in New York, not Chicago. I know it sounds crazy but I thought the Duffers migth shadoweding (idk if it's the right word 😅) this in S3. I got kinda disappointed 😂😥

And you can notice in (s2 ep9) that will dances with a girl wearing a rainbow hair clip.... through out the seasons you can find rainbow signs in mikes room/ basement and eleven has mike with a rainbow heart in his room............., also eleven has a pic of (idk if it’s mike or will) who I think it’s will so mike can imaging himself kissing will ( just a thought ) anddddddddd at the end of season 3 when el kissed mike, mike kept his eyes open and when she said “I love you too” he just stood there **idk just a theory*
