Hi, Dead by Daylight fandom:

I wanted to point out that the announcement of the new Stranger Things DLC is going to bring in an influx of people brand new to both the game and the fandom! The announcement video trended #1 on YouTube overall, and we shouldn’t underestimate what a big deal that is - I personally think the DBD community is going to begin growing a lot, very rapidly, once it’s released, because Stranger Things is one of the most popular horror franchises out there right now.

So this is just a note to say: please be kind towards these new people! Try not to be toxic to them in game, and please be patient when these new fans begin feeling their way around the fandom and trying to learn more about it. This DLC can (and will) inspire a wave of fresh new fan content, but only if our fandom is welcoming to those who want to join in and produce it!
