This might not count idk but in fandom spaces, if there's a gay ship, one of them always gets feminized and turned into a twink. And sometimes they'll ignore the canon to do it. There's this fandom I'm in with a canon gay ship, and the Internet just decided one of the characters was "the girl one" and all of the art twinkifies him. They always make him shorter, skinnier, and paler. Like at that point it's not even the same character.

And I see this happening a lot. Like why do we need to feminize one of them when they're both amazing as is. Why do we need to make them into "the girl one" and "the boy one"

This absolutely does count, and is something I've discussed before on multiple occasions (most recent one being here [link.])

It's just homonormativity, straight up.

the "came back wrong" trope except like... they didnt. like this mad scientists wife died, and so he studied necromancy, brought her back, and she came back and it all worked. like she came back exactly the same as she was before with literally no difference. but the scientist guy is like "oh no... what have i done.... shes Different now!!!! she came back Wrong!!!!" and shes just like. chilling. reading a book. cooking dinner. shes just so so normal but in the guys mind hes like "oh shes soooo weird" but shes just normal
