Well, I haven't been as active as I'd like when it comes to comic book art so I thought I'd let you into my World for a minute. I've been battling a work injury for the span for three years now and I can't focus when I draw/write like I used to before my accident (blow to the head). Regardless I've kept drawing/writing because excuses are for losers. As it turns out here I am whining and giving excuses. Lol!
I did Inktober and yesterday I finally got an eye exam. Turns out one of the reasons why I can't focus and keep getting migraines when I draw is because of my eyes, I need glasses. But, until I get my glasses I'm going to keep pushing forward. Thank you all for your support and for showing love always, it means the World to me and the @truthfulcomics family.
My 8th read book for this year's #HorrorComicsMonth is Buffy The Vampire Slayer No.9 from Dark Horse Comics!
Buffy The Vampire Slayer was created by Joss Whedon.
My 7th read book for this year's #HorrorComicsMonth is Crimson # 1 from the amazing and short lived Cliffhanger! Studios.
This book was one of the three original miniseries published by Cliffhanger! under the Image Comics umbrella back in the early 2000s.
Created by Humberto Ramos, this is the story of a rebellious teen who makes the wrong choice, goes against his family's wishes only to end up turned into a vampire and have his friends brutally murdered right in front of him.
I own the entire miniseries and is one of my favorites. The artwork by Humberto is (in my opinion) the best artwork he's done in his career; and that's saying a lot considering he's one of the top creators in comics!
The characters are all very different and well fleshed out, the action and drama elements are nicely balanced and everyone in the creative team is shooting on all cylinders. I highly recommend you reading this miniseries!

My 6th read book for this year's #HorrorComicsMonth is Tomb of Dracula # 2 from Epic Comics.
Have you ever seen a creative team and think "this book will be amazing with the talent involved with it"? Well, that's what I thought when I picked this book and I was so utterly disappointed. If you've read it and felt differently let me know in the comments.
My 5th read book for this year's #HorrorComicsMonth is Spawn: The Dark Ages 2 from @imagecomics
Loved this first issue and this second issue is even better than the first! Brian Holguin gives a horrifying look into The Black Knight's origins, the nightmare he endured and the curse he must live with.
@liamsharpofficial's art was absolutely perfect for this story as it adds the right amount of detail, dark elements and grotesque and violent scenes making this book a hell of a fun read! I can't believe it took me this long to read this.
My 4th read book for this year's #HorrorComicsMonth is Spawn: The Dark Ages 1 from @imagecomics
Had this in my collection for years and never read it until now, that was a mistake. Loved this first issue!
My 3rd read book for this year's #HorrorComicsMonth is Bloke's Tomb of Horrors 1 from Jason Crawley!
A fun, action packed anthology in the vein of Tales from the Crypt; this series is a great pick for any horror fan!
My 2nd read book for this year's #HorrorComicsMonth is DIE!NAMITE 1 from @dynamitecomics
A fun, action packed story in the vein of the fun 80s horror #bmovies like #EvilDead & #armyofdarkness; this book is a great read for any horror fan!
My first read book for this year's #HorrorComicsMonth is Bettie Page: Curse of the Banshee 1 from @DynamiteComics.
Absolutely gorgeous Bettie Page cosplay cover by the beautiful @animiaofficial
A fun #mystery /#horror book in the vein of Scooby-Doo. Beautiful art + fun story +Bettie Page = winning combo!
