Her laugh was the only clear thing he heard through the cacophony of voices, a laugh directed at Gortash who had her hand in his hand and kissed it. He wanted to take the man and chop his head off. But then he saw her eyes as she looked in his direction.
And suddenly, it felt like he was getting unusually warm. Like his face was heated as a perfected smile was sculpted on her face.
It was like the crowd parted just for her as she weaved throughout it, a Goddess clad in a red dress with a cleavage that made his mouth go dry and snarl at everyone who dared to look in her direction. Her blonde hair draping down her back, where a hand from Gortash seemed to settle as he introduced her to someone else.
With his gaze locked on her, he followed her throughout the room. Accepting a glass of champagne, chatting with the never ending stream of patriars and clearly comfortable in the environment.

Ok, why does this exist? Well, if you know me, you're aware that I love dressing up Rolan :3 And, as this hobby of mine progressed, the four main Rolans (Cambion, Miresworn, Flower Knight, and Master) got distinct personalities and storylines (mostly in my head, but still 🥴).
Now, as I have to replay BG3 (because I lost 90% of my saves, lucky me), I am doing a playthrough with the four, and I want to make VPs along the way. And, with those VPs, some things might seem out of context for you. So, that's why I am dropping short lore on the four, so you always have a reference point. Won’t be spoiling too much, you’ll learn more as you go. :) It might get expanded at some point, of course. :3 And, you can always ask me questions about any Rolan. xD And remember, it is all fun and games, don’t take all this stuff too seriously. 👌All their shared post will be under the #rolanverse hashtag.

Every Rolan resides in his respective reality. You can look at it as if it were a tree. Every tree has a trunk: it is its core, an unchangeable reality, the line of events that will happen no matter what. For instance, the illithid invasion.
At the same time, the tree has branches that grow and spread however they please. They represent the lives of people existing in every reality, the choices they make, and the impact those choices have on their respective realities. It is, essentially, the mechanics of the game, but stretched into multiple possibilities. :)
YET, somehow, four Rolans got yanked out from their timelines to another one. How would they navigate their journey without wanting to tear each other apart? WHO KNOWS…😏
Ties everything together, actually. Cambion Rolan exists outside of all the realities. He is tasked with overseeing all matters involving Rolan and assessing which outcome of Rolan’s choices serves the best interests of Ramazith’s Tower. Tasked by whom? If only he knew.
Thus far, he had seen at least 500 outcomes. He is yet to find the one that is perfect.
Essentially, he knows pretty much all the Rolan archetypes. He’s sorta the soul of Rolan, you know?
Wise and very bored. Imagine if you had to live in the vastness of the Astral Plane and watch the story unfold over and over, and over again.
Sometimes he’s allowed to interact with other realities, but not in a way that will tilt the events in this or that direction. So he just… makes the best of it by having fun. :3
Can shapeshift and possesses other abnormal magic abilities. Which ones? Well, you have to see in the future. :)
Overall, he’s just chilling, man, leave him beeeeeeeee. xD

I have a whole plan for a longfic about the Miresworn and have already written a short fic about him. But the gist is: he lost Cal and Lia. Then he was looking for a way to bring them back from the dead. Found the Necromancy of Thay. Killed Lorroakan. Lost his mind. Has been essentially ruling Baldur’s Gate for the last two years after the illithid invasion from the shadows, together with Ascended Astarion.
Known to the public as the cold but well-meaning Master of Ramazith’s Tower. Which is a cover-up, of course.
An unreliable narrator. Suffers from partial memory loss and sometimes hallucinates.
Depressed and uncaring. His sole purpose - to resurrect Cal and Lia. Nothing else really matters.
Has no issues with screwing people over, especially the Baldur’s Gate nobility. Only harmless towards tieflings.
Conducts some very unholy experiments to reach his goal.
Pursues different schools of magic and has grown quite powerful.
This Rolan Barbie got everything he wanted after the victory over the Elder Brain. And he got a little cocky about it. And greedy. And a tad bit corrupted.
Overall, he is a great tiefling to be pals with! The Master of Ramazith’s Tower does a lot of good for the sake of the city, genuinely. He also does a lot for the sake of his most beloved person - himself.

Works hard to become a member of the Council of Four.
Has some shady-shady dealings with Raphael. But he won’t tell you what it is all about just because you asked nicely. :3

Definitely the most “normal one.” Well, as normal as they come, not very normal in terms of how Rolan’s development would usually go. x)
He’s an Eldritch Knight and not that well-versed in magic, compared to his counterparts. But, physically, he is the strongest and most enduring among the four.
Has been trained in martial arts and swordfighting under Zevlor since he was 14, and is now one of his closest comrades-in-arms.
The nickname comes from his flower bow, of course. However, the Knight loves flowers and nature in general, preferring to spend his free time in the wild. It is also the reason his freckles are so prominent. :3
Pretty calm, as a lot of his anger and fury fuel his resolve on the battlefield.
The tallest boi in all four realms. :3
Deep down, he knows he is squandering his wizardry potential by neglecting magic altogether. Yet, as he would put it himself - “it is not the right time.”
Does not have a crush on Zevlor, of course not, preposterous! 😏
