Look, whatever happens in there, we have to stick together, OK? We have to back each other up. (Arlene)
âArlene, I donâtâŠ.â Itâs not a proud admission. Walter exhales shakily. âI donât think I can do this. I-IâŠ. I canât do this.â
@justicescreaming
alrighty new theme, new icon, new me. iâm too tired to get shit done rn but iâm going to start slowly going through stuff this week
DERRY GIRLS SERIES ONEÂ sentence meme. feel free to change context/pronouns/etc as necessary.Â
Sometimes, all I really want is to be left alone.
Is that my diary?
Iâll find some dirt on you yet. Iâve got people working on it.
Iâm not a clone! I should be allowed to express my individuality.
Well, Iâm not being an individual on my own!
If I say itâs the law, itâs the law, smart-o.
But Murder, She Wrote is on tonight. You never miss Murder, She Wrote.
Whyâs he making that funny noise?
Whatâs happening, exactly?
Listen, I think thereâs been a wee bit of a misunderstanding.
Iâm willing to admit it, even if nobody else will, because Iâm a beacon of truth.
âWeâre going to beat you up,â but, like, in a jokey way.
Well, the thing is, thatâs not actually funny, is it?Â
Why are you reading between the lines?
Youâve never even kissed a boy before. You practise on your pillow sometimes, but you donât think thatâs the same.
The reading of the diary was bad enough, I could do without the quoting it from memory!
Look, whatever happens in there, we have to stick together, OK? We have to back each other up.
Well, I think itâs safe to say we all just lost a bit of respect for you there.
What part of me not giving a flying fuck are you struggling with, exactly?
Iâm sorry you had to hear that.
You are a fucking embarrassment.Â
You were âlikeâ a thief in the night?! You actually were a thief in the night.
If she finds out about this, she will kill you.
I just think it might be time I moved on friendship-wise.
Itâs so sad, it really is, it is so, so sad, but at the same time, you know, whatâs done is done, so letâs crack on.
But itâs freaky! Donât you think itâs so freaky?
Iâm not gonna bother with any ânever sin againâ material, âcos letâs face it, weâve been there before.
Iâve had a lot of caffeine.
This is the best thing thatâs ever happened to me.
Letâs just get it over with and never, ever speak of it again.
Could you put it another way? I didnât understand a word of that.
What would I have to be winking about?Â
It was only a friendly wink.
There is no such thing as a friendly wink!
I really think sheâs playing some sort of twisted psychological mind game here.
Aye, that is a bit fucked up, in fairness.
Have you got a Union Jack splashed across your tits?
Is the point, âIâd like to get beaten upâ?
Genuine question â why canât you just be fucking normal?
She doesnât love you. Sheâs just using you.
I should be up to something, but I canât find the person Iâm supposed to be up to it with, because this place is like a fucking maze.
It has eight bedrooms and a chocolate fountain.
She is hot and youâre not dead. Yet.
Before you know it, youâll be faking your own death and assuming a new identity.
Weâre placing ourselves in grave danger, which Iâm not buzzing about, to be honest.
I am psychic. I did a course. I got a certificate.
So what happened back there was totally fine, but this â this is worth having a panic attack about?
Thatâd be fabby-dabby-do.
Youâre gonna have to never say that sentence again.
Thereâs bound to be something in here we can steal.
A real life lesbian walks among us.
You seriously need to chill the fuck out.
Do you not think thereâs an awful lot of lesbians about nowadays?Â
You canât move for lesbians. Itâs wall-to-wall lesbians out there.

@duruspaladinus // lyric starters // this time i wonât forget - KONGOS
âAgent Scully, Iâm so sorry.â He shakes his head. âCan I do anything to help? Weâre looking for him, and weâre not going to give up. Itâs just.... I donât know how long itâll take, if we are even able to find him. I donât want to set your expectations too high.â
justicescreamingâ:
âI want this to work,â Arlene said. âWeâve been trying so hard, I want this to be something other than a false positive. Youâd be such a good dad.â
âAnd youâll be a wonderful mother,â he assures her. âWeâll keep trying. Or we can see a specialist, if thatâd make you feel better. Just tell me what you need.â
justicescreamingâ:
âAnyone can backslide,â Arlene reminded him. âYouâre doing better now. You just have to keep on the right track. ANd you can. I believe in you.â
âYouâve always had way more faith in me than Iâve had in myself,â he says, a little dryly. âYou donât have to stay. Iâll be fine, I promise.â
recklesswandererâ:
âWell Bigfoot is definitely real and so are pegasus, âcause Iâve seen one.âÂ
âRight.â Itâs like looking at a mini Mulder. âOf course you have.â
foxbelieveâ:
He waved Skinner off, ignoring what he was compared to and everything. When had he called Skinner? He wanted to check his phone, but it had died not too long ago. He wondered, briefly, if Scully had tried to call him, but then again, he doubted she cared right then. His head shook like a petulant child when he said he was taking him home. âI donât want to go home.â He pouted âScully doesnât want me home.âÂ
âAlright fine, you can sleep on my sofa.â He puts out his hand. âGive me your keys. I donât want you trying to drive if you escape. Iâve been there and done that and itâs not a pleasant experience.â
cont. | @duruspaladinus
âOf course you are.â Diana nodded acknowledging his condition as she paid for Skinnerâs tab. Sheâd been sitting in a corner of the same bar, contemplating over her glass of wine when he came in. âItâs a nice place to go after work I guess.â She gave back. âI should call us a cab home.â
âMostly just because itâs close by.â It had been the first thing heâd seen, really, and heâd been sitting at the bar before he even realized heâd changed course. âI can call myself a cab. I just need to find my phone....â He feels around in his pockets for his phone for a moment before pursing his lips. âItâs still in my office.â He sighs. âAlright, fine. If you wouldnât mind calling a cab.â
