[ CHOCOLATE ] - Stefanelli's has partnered with the monastery to make the most of the supplies left in excess of their workshops earlier in the year by offering packages of sweet chocolates for attendees. The offerings appear generous... that is, until you open your box to find it only half full.
"Corrin-sama, how are you enjoying the ball?" Tsubaki approaches, then bows in the prince's presence. One he rises, he presents forth his offering: a box of Stefanelli's chocolates. "If you need a moment's worth of respite, simply call upon me! For now, I insist that you take these."
Though the inside was half-filled, Tsubaki acted quick on instinct. He's decorated the inside with pink tulip petals and purple orchids in the absence of four chocolates. The remaining batch resting upon silk cloth he'd quietly cut from excess tablecloth in the storage, then padded the inside of the box with.
As he gives Corrin the box of chocolates, then a tulip from his bouquet, he also wordlessly sneaks forth a final gift— white dress shoes.
So many people that he knew were finding him at the monastery these days! But he certainly hadn't expected to see Tsubaki of all people here. Ah, well, it was hard to be mad with someone so reliable, and when he was giving him gifts too!
"You're too kind, Tsubaki," The young king laughs out, carefully taking the box as well as delicately accepting the flower from Tsubaki's bouquet as he flounders for his own.
"Here, take this in return!" He offers one of the lilies from his bouquet after he manages to get one from in between all the stuff in his hands, smiling brightly, "I'd hate for you to give me so much and me have nothing to give you."
He almost doesn't notice the final gift being snuck in. Almost. His smile quickly drops and then resurfaces because he doesn't want to seem like a complete asshole. But really... did Tsubaki think this was funny? Come on now, everyone knew that he hated wearing shoes!
