I am yet again thinking about how in the Out of Sight Out of Time 2016 Declassified Epilogue Zach and Townsend are on page together, in a conversation.

Because in the next book it means that they both, on the fly and without disscusing it, realised Cammie hadn't seen them in the same room together and pretended they'd never met before.

I would hope so! The fact that he apparently wasn't in her life before Matt disappeared is so interesting and I do really wonder what happened there. It's possible things were just busy and Joe's not really the family type (or so he thinks). But I do think he was there probably not long after Cammie was born. In the hospital with Matt and Rachel, at Matt's parents house, watching Cammie grow up for the first maybe three years of her life give or take. I could see him also sending gifts for her and correspondence asking Matt and Rachel how she's doing and growing up. I imagine he was meant to be Cammie's godfather, but then he wasn't around anymore.

You know what could have taken him away from the Morgan family? Discovering on a mission that someone else had a child around the same time. A certain redheaded someone with a certain son that desperately needed another adult in his life outside of his mom.

I'm rereading the Gallagher girls series and it's really fun because the first book is all "oh no I hope my mom doesn't find out about my secret boyfriend" and the last book is about stopping world war III
