Modern Helaena would definitely have been a science teacher. She loved her creatures and her plants, but she loved teaching her daughter the most.

HOUSE OF THE DRAGON | Season 3, Episode 6, "Faceless Men"
HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN as ANAKIN SKYWALKER Ahsoka: Season Two | Teaser Trailer
"I'm sure you did your best."
Something about this scene happening again in the finale of the show. The siblings say goodbye for the last time after the wedding of Aegon III and Jaehaera. Alicent is staying put because she will be on the regents team for the two kids, and Gwayne is going back to be Lord of Oldtown - a job he never, ever wanted or expected to have. They can barely look each other in the eye this time as they express their cordial farewells (while the first conversation was filled with so much affection and love). And then suddenly, Gwayne whispers how sorry he is for failing Daeron and being unable to save him.
"Brother...you did your best."
Calling it now - when and if the Targtowers reunite in season 4, the first words out of Aegon's mouth are: "You impudent little wretch. What have you done to your hair?"
baby daeron with his sweet girl tessarion
I try my best not to judge, but the fact that folks keep insisting that you will never meet an Ormund in real life and that's why he's the better person for Gwayne is driving me absolutely batshit.
Ormund has brutally abused his adoptive son. Daeron is terrified of him.
Hurled misogynistic slurs about Rhaenyra - "Bitch with a dragon/bring the bitch to her knees."
Been nastily homophobic to the guy that he's being shipped with.
Sex pest (prancing around naked in front of the Footlys to humiliate them) - it's such locker room behavior. Every single one of us has come in contact with an asshole who has done this.
Becoming violent and trashing a room when getting news he did not like.
I'll stop there, but the double standard pisses me off so much. It's okay if abusive and toxic ships are your jam - I myself can see the appeal of Dunkaerion - but you cannot go "Cole is so much realistic than Ormund that's why I hate him," when you have come into contact with cruel monsters like Ormund in your lifetime.

HOUSE OF THE DRAGON S03E08 — The Treasons at Tumbleton (2026)
"Nonsense, it's a chair made out of steel blades. Rhaenyra had wanted it all her life and had sacrificed two sons for it. She likely gripped the damn thing too tight."
Matt's farewell words to Fabien:
From Fabien's farewell words: "i'll miss seeing matt's face"
The way they are both going to fail to save their baby mooses.
Lady Hightower
In a world where Daeron Targaryen successfully claims the throne and becomes Daeron I, there is a severe lack of Hightowers to inherit the Oldtown seat. After the death of Lord Hightower's wife, Daeron sends his niece, Princess Jaehaera, to Oldtown to become her great-uncle Gwayne's heir. Her arrival comes with the addition of a small black dragon named Death, and her loyal and beloved protector, Ser Criston Cole.

BENJAMIN EVAN AINSWORTH as DAERON TARGARYEN House of the Dragon: Season Three (2026)
"You came" "You called" trope can be so heartbreaking (in a good sense) and heartwarming when it's about enemies/rivals to lovers or enemies/rivals to family ships/duos.
aemond going through a gothic horror novel and being haunted by the visions™️ only to see the brother he supposedly killed come to him. and then aegon bitch slaps him (deserved tbf). hilarious. AND TGC'S DELIVERY OF 'I'M ALIVEEEE'. topped of with aegon realising that aemond's suicidal af (matching w papa) and then being like 'oh shit. this isn't fun anymore. he's got some deep rooted issues or whatever. motherfuck' and then deciding a more appropriate punishment than death is forcibly taking him on a road trip.
