I need everyone to loose all their expectations and hopes for TWP. All little head cannons and scenarios. That is if you want to enjoy this series. We have been here since 2018 waiting and in this time we did a lot of thinking but as of right now we need to stop otherwise we are setting ourselves for disappointment. No matter how great of a writer Cassie is she cannot match everyone’s expectations. Let’s enjoy this book people we have waited almost a decade for it 🥳🫡

One thing I want to mention from this teaser talk is Cassie confirmed in the comments where gonna get a release date ‘soon’. I’m personally thinking sometime between august-november!

Ty's patience with Kit is truly something to behold. he understands that Kit needs space because he's angry and so he gives him space. Ty doesn't even know why Kit is so upset with him, but Kit needs space so he doesn't pry. Kit left without saying goodbye and Ty lets him. he has to trust that someday maybe Kit will turn up to his doorstep and want to talk to him again.

but when eventually Ty is the one who turns up on Kit's doorstep instead, they pretend as if there's no complicated history, let alone an even more complicated three years long silence between them. Kit still won't give anything away, because he isn't ready, and Ty respects that without question. he never demands explanations or apologies, nor does he ever infringe on the distance Kit put between them. when he finally does and Kit still wants to keep him at arm's length, he lets him.

he understands without knowing, without ever being told why, and that's all there is. if that isn't one of the most devotional acts of love you've ever seen I don't know what is.

i do hear yall about the miscommunication but let's also be real with ourselves this is the most honest two main characters have ever been with themselves and each other at the start of a series- BOTH of them being consciously aware their feelings are romantic? both of them saying out loud they have been mad at each other and that acting otherwise will just be pretending? like yes the bar is underground but we ARE clearing it!

Thank God cos I was abt to throw hands 😂
