I recently got my parents into watching 911 (I’m caught up with the show already btw) and together we watch like 2-4 episodes per night.

Both their favourite characters are Captain Bobby Nash himself & tonight we’re gonna start S8EP12 for our binge watch… 🙂

I’m very nervous for what’s ahead please wish me luck

Quick update for anyone who wants to know -

We finished the binge on S8EP15 and neither one are happy. Loads of swear words being thrown, plenty crying, and pure disbelief. The words “there’s no point in watching the rest of this” were also said so 😬

Wish me more luck trying to convince them to keep watching cause if I had to struggle through S9, so do they lol 😂

People who are hard on yourselves: may I humbly offer you the 100 floors of frights philosophy?

In the SNL David S. Pumpkins sketch, a couple is on a ride called "100 Floors of Frights," where they see a different scare on each floor, and at one point they complain about many of those floors being lame. And then Kenan Thompson delivers this line of deep philosophical wisdom: "Hey look—it's 100 floors of frights, they not all gonna be winners."

My husband and I use this line all the time to give ourselves grace. For instance, I'm a good cook, but when I make a dinner that doesn't turn out well, I will literally say out loud, "It's 100 floors of frights—they're not all gonna be winners," or just "Look it's 100 floors of frights."

It just means when you do a thing a whole lot, there's bound to be some instances that are bad. You don't have to be good at the thing 100% of the time. You can't be good 100% of the time. Some of the 100 floors are gonna suck. It doesn't negate your skill at creating the rest of the 100 floors.

You can use this for anything: art you make, performances, school assignments, days at work, outfits, sex sessions, literally anything that you are too hard on yourself about when it doesn't go great. Listen to Kenan Thompson and remember that it's impossible for them all to be winners, and that's okay.

Is Sonny With A Chance getting like a soft-launch for a new project at the moment???

Cause the Disney Channel account posted a reel from the show a few days ago and in Demi’s recent TikTok livestream, Demi answered a question relating to SWAC’s ending and like ???

It just strikes me that this could be the beginning of ✨something✨ because they did a similar enough thing with Camp Rock 3 (bar all the news articles saying there was talks of a CR3 like but still).

If there is gonna be a new project either tied to or adapted from SWAC - I’m coming back to this post and using it as proof of me being a fortune teller… or it’s just that I’m understanding social media marketing a lot better than I thought lolol
