OHHHHH the phrase "go off half-cocked" refers to a gun that fires before the firing pin is fully in position. that makes sense I thought it was like. a different thing

The Undulating Cube of Plumpness and Joy:
We find it necessary for my mental stability to keep five species of undulating cubes on hand at all times in various rooms of the house for Looking at.
Do recommend.
"They tried to kill eachother!!" oh my godddd that was only a couple of timessss and they were literally flirtingggg shut uppppp
Ok, I had a potentially stupid, potentially awesome fan creation idea.
Those crochet butterfly cardigans, but make it Ashisogi Jizō.
So I looked into that butterfly cardigan pattern that went kinda viral and the comments generally say it's not very good because the designer made the medium size and then generated the rest from that, and it mostly just contains links to Stitch Fiddle and a video tutorial.
Which is not my idea of a nice time.
But! I found a butterfly wing shawl! Actually, I found several, but one in particular uses worsted weight yarn, which is way nicer to work with than the fingering weight the rest used.
I figure if I make two shawls and sew them together, and then steek the front open and add a border, that's a cardigan! And since it's worsted, I can use DROPS Paris, which is cotton and I can usually get it really cheap because one or another Norwegian yarn store always has it on sale. Or I could do DROPS Karisma, which is wool and would be cozy as heck, though it's slightly thinner worsted. Shawls are easy to adapt though.
Ok, we're doing Karisma. It's slightly more expensive, but not bank-breaking, it's superwash wool so I can be cosy and convenient, and it has some really good colours for this project.
Not sure if I would use the deep red or deep pink, the screenshots could lean either way, though I'd say more pinkish given the red bandana thing. I'll pop by one of the local stores that sell DROPS yarn and see how the colours look in real life (I think I actually have some of the red somewhere, but I have no idea where).
The Beyond Bankai view of murder butterfly mode has more detail and a tiny orange spot, but otherwise seems to follow the same basic idea.
