Had an amazing cup of coffee here. It was a Columbia Pink Bourbon roast and it tasted like honey. I started reading Butter by Asako Yuzuki, the book I got from Book Off the day before. A few pages in, I looked up from my book and found that all three of the baristas in the cafe also had their noses in books. And there’s something oddly comforting about reading in the same room with strangers, don’t you think?

Some truly phenomenal light this morning. What a great start to the week.

Had a lovely day, even if not as productive as I’d planned. After class, I stopped by a café near the main campus and did some reading before heading to my open pottery session.

By evening, snow had started falling, and on my way home I spotted snowmen and snow angels all around campus. Such a delight!
