Have I told you guys how super excited I am for this new redesigned style of tree mugs! ππ€ I'm loving these fellas and I also feel like they are a great option for the man in your life. A lot of my designs are more feminine without me even realizing it so it's refreshing to have an option that might be a little more masculine. These are headed to the bisque kiln either today or tomorrow and I'm definitely looking forward to playing around with glazes on these also. I've been considering sponging dark underglaze into the carvings and leaving the raw clay color and I'm also considering trying out a glaze inlay into the carvings instead of glazing the entire outside. And I may try some with my usual brown glaze on the outside. I think I may play around with each option a bit but what do you guys think I should do? Which option sounds more earthy and tree like? Comment below and let me know because glazing is just around the corner! ππ€ππ²π³ππ #woodsy #treehugger #carvedclay (at Springfield, Missouri)
