remember to rest 🤍
1.4.23
as much as I want to curl up with my book and coffee, it’s time to get back to work. im making sure to begin the year slowly, and give myself grace to ease back after a long, long semester. My tips for an easy transition back to work:
Start slow!! Give yourself time to come up to speed. Begin with the low-effort tasks like sorting your inbox, or making a todo list.
Get comfy - put on your finest comfies, light a candle, make a cup of something warm and cozy, and put on music that feels like a hug.
Make your work space pretty! An excuse to break out the fancy highlighters, washi tape, and markers to make the nicest todo list ever seen. It truly helps motivate me to work if my space is inviting
I’m proud of you already!! 🤍
We turn not older with years but newer every day.

Every day is a fresh start 🤍
Heading into the new year, it’s important to take a moment to be grateful for what you have, and where you’re at as you set goals for 2023.
Don’t forget the present while pining for the future 🤍

New year, new me(ntal problems).
New semester, new me(ntal problems).
Just a little reminder that because it's a last day/night of this year so many people will post about their accomplishments or achievements but here I'm telling you that even if the only thing you did this year was to survive then I'm so proud of you and you did so many things for that.
after two weeks off, I am finally feeling ready to get back to work and prep for the upcoming semester. taking this time to do nothing but read, watch netflix, and spend time with my husband and cat has been so incredibly healing. I am still not fully at 100% yet, but there are thankfully two more weeks yet until the semester begins.
prepping my master assignment tracker is so important to keeping my head together (it sure saved my butt many many times this fall). I am quite nervous going into this semester, as classes are likely to be quite difficult so doing everything I can to ensure success is so important.
the year is coming to a close tomorrow, and I have so much cautious hope going into 2023. if the year turns out anything like 2022 i’ll be content.
