"Someone to care about..." Bruce needs someone to take care of, like a child, to be well. That's why he needs Robin, he needs a kid. Btw, Dick is insulted because he is being told that he needs to be Robin again, not because he disagrees with Bruce needing a kid to take care of.

Bruce taught him how to become an adult, which parents should do. This is so important because a huge part of this fandom acts as if Alfred was the one who raised the boys and not Bruce. Also, how much Jason was loved. Bruce is devastated, Dick wants to bury Robin with Jason, and they deeply wish they could have him back.

Slows down Dumbledore's curse so that he can live longer to complete all the final preparations to destroy voldemort

Mercy kills Dumbledore and becomes a Pariah for the sake of the cause, facing hatred from his former allies and friends headfirst.

Forbids Phineus Negullus's portraits from calling Hermione a mudblood.

Saves Lupin from a DeathEater during the chase.

Goes into the Forbidden forest and the Shrieking Shack to look for Harry and Co when there is a supposed Mass Murderer on the loose whom he suspects to be in cohorts with Lupin.

Places the Sword of Gryffindor under the lake for Harry.

Saves Katie Bell from the Cursed Necklace.

Helps Professor Sprout with the Mandrake.

Even in the midst of a painful Death he makes sure he passes on the message to Harry.

Or posts about "a grown man beating up a little kid" and it's Jason and Tim. Or how "embarrassing it is to see a grown man wearing a cheap Robin costume" and it's Jason wearing a quality custom fitted Robin costume while still not being as old Dick was when Dick left the mantle. Or how Jason is a grown man and should act like it. Or how Jason is a grown man and should know better. Or how Jason is a grown man trying to encourage underage drinking. Or how Jason is a grown man and should get away from children. Grown man grown man grown fucking man and he's literally a fucking teenager in majority of these examples. and younger than Tim in all of them.

Not Bruce's, but Dick’s. Within just a few days Dick took such a strong liking to Jason that he'd already given him a nickname. It's possibly also the one that Jason's parents used (pre-crisis) as Dick would've been the one who hung around them, not Bruce. Dick did take a quick liking to the entire Todd family, afterall, so him using the same nickname for Jason as his parents wouldn't be all that surprising to me.

I've noticed certain parallels between Severus and Lilo that I like.

1. First, they both enjoy experimenting with unconventional magic and with the aim of hurting their bullies.

I'm especially fond of it in penpals, but I dunno I think it should be noted Jason writes in cursive I think he should be allowed to keep that
