maryse naming her youngest son max after the older brother she revered and missed dearly after he was taken from her too abruptly & alec naming his youngest son after the brother he adored and who was taken from him adruptly — the name max has been passed down 3 generations for brothers loved and lost and its so heartbreakingly beautiful to realise our love for someone is eternal. we loved them in our shared past, we love them in our separate presents and we will love them in the future versions.
~ A Lonely Place of Dying
There's a lot of informations about Bruce and fatherhood being shared here.
"Master Bruce has not been the same since he lost Robin... A second time." Dick leaving was a loss to Bruce. Whatever version of Dick leaving you take, this implies Bruce suffered from it.
"Someone to care about..." Bruce needs someone to take care of, like a child, to be well. That's why he needs Robin, he needs a kid. Btw, Dick is insulted because he is being told that he needs to be Robin again, not because he disagrees with Bruce needing a kid to take care of.
"That man raised me. [...] And the first thing he taught me was how to become a man, not how to become a kid all over again" Just... That's his father. That's his dad. Bruce taught him how to become an adult, which parents should do. This is so important because a huge part of this fandom acts as if Alfred was the one who raised the boys and not Bruce. No, Bruce raised them.
Also, how much Jason was loved. Bruce is devastated, Dick wants to bury Robin with Jason, and they deeply wish they could have him back.
Snape never switched sides for a Noble Cause! He was just obsessed with Lily!
Lily: *DEAD*
List of things Snape could've done once his "object of obsession" was dead.
Fucked off and live as a recluse.
Off himself (he was expressing it)
Completely convert to the Death Eaters for revenge.
Play the part of spy but *legitimately* betray the order once it was convenient.
What Snape does instead:
Watches over Harry once the boy starts hogwarts, saving him from several dangers, such as the Quidditch incident.
Dedicates himself to The Order. Spies for Dumbledore right under the nose of one of the strongest legillimens, risking torture and death.
Slows down Dumbledore's curse so that he can live longer to complete all the final preparations to destroy voldemort
Mercy kills Dumbledore and becomes a Pariah for the sake of the cause, facing hatred from his former allies and friends headfirst.
Forbids Phineus Negullus's portraits from calling Hermione a mudblood.
Saves Lupin from a DeathEater during the chase.
Goes into the Forbidden forest and the Shrieking Shack to look for Harry and Co when there is a supposed Mass Murderer on the loose whom he suspects to be in cohorts with Lupin.
Places the Sword of Gryffindor under the lake for Harry.
Saves Katie Bell from the Cursed Necklace.
Helps Professor Sprout with the Mandrake.
Even in the midst of a painful Death he makes sure he passes on the message to Harry.
Snape is not perfect. Snape is Snape. Being known as one of the most bravest man is part of being Snapw.
Feel free to add more snovers.
"Why do you care so much about Jason's age/keep insisting how young he is"
Because every fucking day I'm witness to discourse about how some insert Jason ship is a proship because "Jason is a grown man" when he's literally their age or younger. Or posts about "a grown man beating up a little kid" and it's Jason and Tim. Or how "embarrassing it is to see a grown man wearing a cheap Robin costume" and it's Jason wearing a quality custom fitted Robin costume while still not being as old Dick was when Dick left the mantle. Or how Jason is a grown man and should act like it. Or how Jason is a grown man and should know better. Or how Jason is a grown man trying to encourage underage drinking. Or how Jason is a grown man and should get away from children. Grown man grown man grown fucking man and he's literally a fucking teenager in majority of these examples. and younger than Tim in all of them.
Bring back Dick calling Jason "Jase" 🙏‼️

It was his nickname for Jason!!!

Not Bruce's, but Dick’s. Within just a few days Dick took such a strong liking to Jason that he'd already given him a nickname. It's possibly also the one that Jason's parents used (pre-crisis) as Dick would've been the one who hung around them, not Bruce. Dick did take a quick liking to the entire Todd family, afterall, so him using the same nickname for Jason as his parents wouldn't be all that surprising to me.

So please, DC, bring it back 😭🙏🙏🙏
how the inside of your mind looks like if you don’t care about what people, especially strangers on the internet, think about you, your ship, what fanfics you write or read (and you just keep doing whatever you want because you’re not harming anybody, except maybe fictional characters)
I've noticed certain parallels between Severus and Lilo that I like.
1. First, they both enjoy experimenting with unconventional magic and with the aim of hurting their bullies.
2. Second, both are not afraid to defend themselves even if it means attacking those who bother them.
3. Third, they are excluded and mistreated for being different and "weird".
4. Fourth, I love them both.😌❤️
SHADOWHUNTERS 2.18 "Awake, Arise, or Be Forever Fallen"
Maryse lost her brother because he was persecuted for who he loved and she couldn’t fight for him. Izzy never stops fighting for hers.
Robert lost his parabatai because of his own homophobia. Jace accepted his parabatai without hesitation.
Maryse and Robert watch their children succeed in every way they failed.
They both failed to do the right thing and followed Valentine's propaganda. Alec founded the Shadowhunter-Downworlder Alliance.
Always and forever and for the rest of my life will hate when Jason gets shown to have bad or average handwriting. There are Two issues in the 80s all about writing and we can clearly see Jason has a neat cursive
I'm especially fond of it in penpals, but I dunno I think it should be noted Jason writes in cursive I think he should be allowed to keep that
Edit:
Look at this post too.
Happy New Year’s Eve!
