A few headcanons for my beloved Irasya, I kept them for several months.
Marina came up with the name for Ira and Asya, calling them Irasya or Iriska. She thought it sounded quite cute. Ira was annoyed by it, and Asya also thought it was quite cute, but she wouldn't say so out loud.
Ira is surprisingly affectionate and tactile. Which is unexpected, given her temperament and quick temper. But usually this happens when she is alone with Asya, public displays are kept to a minimum (maybe holding hands, but nothing more).
Previously, when Ira felt a panic attack approaching, she would retreat to a secluded place, away from others. She still does this, but now she goes to such places with Asya and usually likes to hold her hand to ground herself.
Ira's caring nature can sometimes seem rude and blunt, but that's perfectly within her character. She's also quite straightforward with her words. She says "I love you" with a very direct expression, but not always.
Tolik is similar to his sister in behavior, he even copies her calm expression. And at the first meeting with Asya, he behaved like Ira, distant and a little wary. But when she offered to read him something, he immediately transformed, and an interested look appeared on his face. Ira was glad that they got along.
Ira is lulled by Asya's voice, not because it's boring, but because it's soothing. Therefore, it often happens that she can fall asleep on the girl’s shoulder while she is reading something out loud. And Asya doesn't mind (she thinks it's very cute, but doesn't tell Ira).
Ira rarely smiles widely; more often than not, a small smile appears on her face, but for Asya, it's all it takes to elicit that smile. The same goes for the dark-haired girl's laughter, you rarely hear more than a chuckle or a snort.
The first time Asya heard a girl laugh, she said without thinking, "You have a very melodic laugh." This, of course, confused Ira. As for Asya’s smile, Ira believes that it can light up an entire room, so she does everything possible to see it more often.
Asya doesn’t mind when Ira smokes and the smell too (she’s used to it, her mother smokes), she even likes it a little. But Ira still tries to smoke less, and is even thinking about quitting in the future.
When they said their first "I love you" to each other, Asya smiled so widely that her face hurt. At that moment, Ira thought that her girlfriend was the sun because of the way she was literally glowing.
They almost never use affectionate nicknames, Ira sometimes calls Asya "sunshine" or "Asya." Asya calls her "darling" or just by her first name.
Marina fully supports them and covers for them if necessary. Teased them even before they got together as a couple. Vadim, however, didn't care; he was rather surprised that he was essentially right when he called Shubina a lesbian. He doesn't say anything because he doesn't want to get punched in the face by Dvachevskaya and because Marina is blackmailing him.
It's not that he's stopped teasing them, his classmates would start asking questions, and he doesn't need that; he's simply toned down the amount of it.
They didn't go on dates in the traditional sense, from the outside, it was more like strolling through the streets. In cafes or movies, it looked like they were two friends, it was easier that way. Only in a few places were they less reserved—the outskirts, the library, and Marina's house.
The outskirts - it's understandable why, there weren't many people nearby, and Marina's house is also understandable. But as for the library, one time Ira and Asya were careless and the librarian, Lilia Ivanovna, caught them kissing. The girls' reactions could have been varied, they feared the worst, but to their surprise, their grandmother was touched by their behavior and said "it's safe here." This was probably because neither Ira nor Asya were on her bad side, but they weren't taking any chances.
Asya may be a shy, reserved girl, but if there's a topic she can talk about, it's impossible to shut her up. Books are an example of this. When Liliya Ivanovna asked her to read to the children at the kindergarten, she was initially at a loss for words, faced with so many faces staring at her. But Tolik was in that group, so he suggested that she read them a fairy tale. Her voice trembled at the beginning, but gradually she became immersed in the book's plot and characters, reading as if no one was there. The children were delighted.
Ira likes to make Asya happy, and Asya likes to embarrass Ira.
Ira is quite clingy when she's asleep or sleepy. She literally clings to Asya with her hands and feet, not allowing her to move even an inch. But when fully awake, she won't remember this and will deny it even if you tell her.
