Legacy Collection Install- Drop "setup.bmp" into the "Maxis > The Sims > UIGraphics > Logos" folder.

Complete Collection Install - Create a new folder in "Maxis > The Sims > UIGraphics" named "Other". Place "setup.bmp" into this folder.

Hello, The Sims lovers! Recently, you probably caught @morepopcorn update about the FAME PACK mod, which is going to bring back some cool features from the Sims Superstar EP (and not only!) 🤩

I can't express how excited I am to bring brand-new animations to these iconic objects and finally see them in action inside the game. I wanted to share a sneak peek of the WIP process with you! These clips come from the Recording Studio and showcase both the successful and failed versions of doing jingles and handling rejection.

Boots, Shorts & Belt bottom for AF

and OFB Riding Pants mesh tweak & recolors

+ Memento Halter Crop Top recolors

Shorts polycount: 1202. Recolors 1-6 repo'd to JodhpurBoots recolors, or standalone version. I've also included optional replacement for OFB 'JodhpurBoots oxblood' texture.

The Halter Crop Top mesh by @memento-sims is included - it's my edit, I've reduced splitting issues around the cleavage.

No preg morphs this time, because: belt.

I recommend Memento's original recolors for this top.

OFB "oxblood" texture is featured in the center above. Pretty sure the grey stripe on the boots wasn't intentional. These three recolors (merged) are linked to original OFB textures.

Overall I'm happy with the new belted shorts mesh, but "fat" morph is not perfect (slight clipping with the short edges and crotch area when the thighs are lifted up), maybe I'll correct it at some point, but not anytime soon.

As always, single body shadow, and normal map /used only for denim shorts/, are included with the mesh file.

There's also envcube mask, used by three recolors - reflection is set to blend, so if you don't have CandK's Extended SimStandardMaterial shader edit, then you won't see the subtle shine on the boots and belt.

The University Project Project

This bi-monthly theme at GoS gave me some inspiraton, so here's a mod to celebrate GoS returning. :)

This mod gives university students a chance of bringing college project instead of standard written homework, using TS4 Discover University meshes and textures.

Project will look differently for each major. Undeclared Sims and custom majors get randomly one of 11 projects.

Chance of bringing a college project is by default 20%.

College projects take longer to finish, but are more rewarding, letting your Sims gain some skills and hobby enthusiasm. There's 50/50 chance of gaining either logic skill or charisma skill, because those are the skills that made sense to me in the college project context.

As for enthusiasm:

Art project makes your Sims gain Art and Craft enthusiasm,

Biology project makes your Sims gain Nature enthusiasm,

Drama, History, Philosophy and Literature projects make your Sims gain Film and Literature enthusiasm,

Economics, Maths/IT, Physics and Psychology projects make your Sims gain Science enthusiasm,

Political Science project makes your Sims gain Games enthusiasm.

I know some of subjects might not be the best match for certain hobbies, but I didn't want to turn everything into Science and there's history of everything, so this major could fit into many hobbies, like art, music etc.

Sims have a chance of making college project of one of three qualities: low, mid and high. The outcome depends on Sim's grade and getting help with the project (but it only counts if it happens during quality check). If you use Smonaff's Fall Asleep While Doing Homework, Sims who have fallen asleep while working on their project can't make projects of high quality.

This mod conflicts with some mods:

if you are using simler90's Homework Assignment Mod (Full Version - it doesn't conflict with Placement Version), choose plug-in "zz_Meduza_UniversityProject_AssignmentFull" and make it load after both my mod and simler90's mod,

if you are using smonaff's Fall Asleep While Doing Homework, choose plug-in called "zz_Meduza_Smonaff_UniversityProjectFallAsleep" and make it load after both my mod and smonaff's mod,

if you are using @episims' Pencils by Color Traits, choose plug-in called "zz_Meduza_UniversityProject_ColorPencil" - Epi's mod doesn't conflict with mine, but you need this plug-in to get colorful pencils,

if you are using Dave_Luv's Faster Homework, choose plug-in called "zz_Meduza_UniversityProject_FasterHomework" and make it load after both my mod and Dave_Luv's mod.

DO NOT use my plug-in for simler90's Homework Assignment Mod (Full version) and my plug-in for Dave_Luv's Faster Homework - these mods are incompatible.

There's an issue when a project board is facing wall - the project won't turn around and your Sim will be doing their project even though they are facing the board's back. Right now I don't have a good solution for that. The best I can offer you is that you can cancel the action and turn the board around in the Buy mode. :/

Better Argue Anims

For an unknown reason, Maxis used 'agree' talk anims for the argue interaction. Especially weird as it always causes a relationship hit. In my book, that's the opposite of agreeing.

This mod replaces the argue anims with ones that look, well, arguing. No more enthusiastic smiling while being rampaged at.

Should be base game compatible. I don't know anything this conflicts with, but run HCDU to be sure.

I've somehow missed marionette jowls, but these are also included.

Icon preview features two types of reddish under-eye shadows, but one is missing and I'm not sure what happened to the file well I deleted it, what else.

It's all universal, but looks best on skintones S2 - S4.

I rarely do 'real' makeup, there's so much of it around, but I needed an eyeliner that goes over waterlines, and this one does that. As you can see above, a part of the waterline is still visible. I avoid 1024x1024 face textures but this just couldn't be any smaller :S

These skin details are very good, and I mean like next level 👍👍👍 They look natural and are visible from a medium-close distance without looking painted on. Really give shape to a face!

there's a little hole there. it's not the mesh it's something to do with the bone assignment but my attempts to fix it have ended horribly :

so yeah, eventually i'll try to fix it again but im too busy with work these days and it's good enough for me... <_<

the mesh stretches in awkward ways during certains animations. let's say they're walking pants - not for running lol
