Hi, I'm Elly. Felt like setting up camp here for a little while. Mostly I post sketches and concept art for my in-progress comic, so if that interests you feel free to stick around. I hope you enjoy your time here ^_^

It's been an entire presidential election cycle since my last set of The West Wing prints debuted. With the next election right around the corner and Mary Elizabeth McCormack & Melissa Fitzgerald's new West Wing book hitting bookshelves this month, now feels like the right time to dive back into the beloved show and debut another set of retro-style posters inspired by fan-favorite episodes of the series. For this wave of prints, I've put together designs based on five episodes from seasons 2 through 4. Three of the episodes are heavily campaign focused while the remaining two episodes are personal favorites focused in-part on threading the needle between governing policies and political realities. I hope all my fellow Wingnuts enjoy this round of offerings. Check out the new designs along with additional info below. All five prints are available now via the Studio JJ shop or by simply clicking the images below. Hey friends, it’s been a while...

Lots of progress has been made on the comic wip, and wouldn’t you know it, I changed Juno’s costume design again. As much as I miss the Pierrot outfit, I think this actually suits the version of her I originally had in my head a lot better. I feel like I know her again, which is really nice (I may just have to develop a side clown oc to fill in the void...)

It still needs a few tweaks here and there, but in the meantime I wanted to just give an update and show the internet what I have so far :)

Another colour experiment, in which Ezra encounters some sheepies!! Here I included both the full colour drawing, and the page out of my sketchbook. Been trying to do some more “finished pieces”, as experiments :)

Started out by drawing a bathroom I saw on Pinterest, ended up with a little skeleton character from a comic that now has a total of one (1) page completed.

Finally did a full-blown character sheet for one of my comic characters. Sabrina probably has the most concrete character design as of right now so I figured I’d start with her ^_^

A rare colour drawing! Now we can finally appreciate Sabrina in all of her glory :)

I haven’t done digital art in a long time, and with this drawing I used traditional lineart and then coloured it digitally. I still have a lot to learn, but I enjoyed making this one and I hope you enjoy looking at it.

Hello friends! Today I bring you some super rough, late-night Juno sketches! I was a little low on sketchbook content but you guys seem to really like her (or maybe its cause I tagged her with clown stuff lol). In any case, I’ve been trying to create some more practical spins on this Pierrot silhouette, and also I figured out a better way to draw her face. Enjoy!

Some costume design notes for one of my characters, Sabrina. The story she’s in takes place in a sort of dystopian city with a wide mix of cultures influencing the architecture and style of dress. For Sabrina, a lot of the inspiration is taken from Ottoman/Turkish styles.
