Delicious Elsanna week #4 Birthday The day Anna wasn’t red, but almost glowing in the dark. I’ve said I want to do all the prompts. This took like an eternity, but I wanted it perfect. Idina Menzel publicly gets behind #GiveElsaAGirlfriend

“The voice of Elsa has thrown her support behind the online campaign to make theFrozen lead Disney’s first LGBT princess.

At a red carpet appearance for the Billboard Music Awards, Idina Menzel told Entertainment Tonight that she’s all for the push to #GiveElsaAGirlfriend, which the Daily Dot first covered earlier this month, when bisexual high school student Alexis Isabel Moncada launched the hashtag.

‘I think it’s great,“ Menzel said. “Disney’s just gotta contend with that. I’ll let them figure that out.’”

I love this idea so much and I am in 1000 percent support of it. But Disney is never going to do it out of fear for the international market boycotting the film. Sadly a lot of major markets for Disney around the world are nowhere near as progressive when it comes to lgbt theme’s and people in cinema. So out of fear of losing money Disney is probably not going to touch this with a 39 and a half inch poll anytime soon. :( Maybe someday they will be.

Good. I’d rather Elsa just not have any sort of SO at all. In fact, I don’t want any romance in Frozen 2 unless it’s the already-established Anna/Kristoff. This is just an all-around terrible idea and I can’t believe it’s getting attention.

Now here is where you are wrong because sexuality has mattered for over 50 years in the animated “Cartoons made for Children Industry”.

It’s only when LGBT people get brought up that people start to claim “Sexuality shouldn’t be in children’s media in the first place blah blah bs bs bs excuse blah”. See heterosexuality is and has been commonplace in children’s media to varying levels of degrees yet that is never spoken as “too much for a child to handle”. But throw in a gay person and suddenly we have a “situation” that is “Inappropriate” for a child to see and we shouldn’t be expsoing “Seuxality” to children. Yet again look at the above we have been doing just that for DECADES. This ties into the whole oversexulization and demonziation of LGBT people that has existed for again for decades now. So next time you say “sexuality shouldn’t matter” just rephrase it too “LGBT scare me :*(”.

I was in my Anatomy and Physiology lab zoning out a tiny bit because it was a long day when I heard my professor say “ASIS” and I immediately perked up because A Snowflake in Spring is a SUPER good fic. But it ended up just being the Anterior Superior Iliac Spine on the hip bone

Elsa graduated college and is working as a junior associate at her dad’s architecture firm. Anna is a junior in college getting her degree in sports medicine/therapy. The nerds are living together. Their parents know about everything, and are supportive, but constantly remind them to not get discovered.

Tuesday, August 30th, Elsa calls in sick with the flu. It’s super bad, and she tells her dad she’ll have to miss a few days of work to get better. He tells her to get well soon, and that he’ll drop a care package off when he meets Anna for lunch.

Anna comes home and gives a remarkably healthy Elsa the bag. Inside, she finds a World of Warcraft: Legion gaming mouse and headset, along with a note:

‘Elsa, hope you feel better soon. The other junior associates will be glad for a chance to catch up…you really put them to shame at work. Don’t tell them I said that, haha.

Some things to help you with your new game…Anna helped us pick them out. Good timing for that flu, huh?

All this idle chatter from a couple people here and there about the Elsanna fandom possibly dying inspired me to make this. I have a strange sense of humor, I know. :D

The fandom is not dying. I know there is less being made than when the film first came out, and I know that I am not writing as much as I could. But all that is natural, given the time that has passed and my own doubts about my work.

When new content appears, Elsanna will return to full blossom. Even now, in fact, it quietly flourishes – like a green sapling in the soil. :)
