hi there! do you mind checking out my blog? x

Hi! I have read that bananas aren't good because of how high it is in sugar. And that just because its a fruit doesn't mean its healthy. Like smoothies. Its a lot of sugar and I read its bad for your teeth. What are your thoughts on this?
I beg to differ! I think they're totally healthy, natures candy! remind sugar, thats bad for sure. a banana (or any fruit), full of fibre, and phyto/other macro/and micro nutrients?! they're hella good x

Sunday mornings for most people usually consist an indulgent breakfast of say ... PANCAKES... 👌🏽 but Sunday's for me is just another day at work - not complaining though 😏 This pancake stack was from the other morning, and oh boy do I have a recipe coming for you 😜 plus a sneaky giveaway with @thecarobkitchen! Will be posting the recipe for these triple carob pancakes shortly 🍫🍫🍫 for now I'm off to work, but enjoy a sunny Sunday everyone! 🌟
💕💜🔮🍚PINK N PURPLE SUSHI RICE🍚🔮💜💕 heres the recipe: -Steamed white rice - cooled -Purple cabbage - steamed for about 15 mins 👆🏽 any measurements for these will work. -The juice of half a lemon -toasted sesame seeds -rice vinegar (no exact measurement, all depends on the amount of rice you have, generally around a tbsp to 2 cups) 👉🏽 mix the rice with the vinegar and toasted sesame seeds. - split the cabbage into two parts, with the first half, stir it into the rice. -pour the lemon juice onto the second part of cabbage .. It will turn a beautiful hue of pinky/purple! -mix the pink portion of the cabbage with the rice .. Be sure to use the liquids from the cabbage too! Optional to add pickled ginger, but I really like it in there too! I use this rice for sushi bowls or simply for wrapping in nori as prep for lunches and dinners 🌟
Hues of purple 💜🔮 made a big batch of this sushi rice for the family one night to add to sushi bowls.. Then ended up rolling it because it looked so damn pretty 💜 I'll post the recipe tonight!👌🏽
💫🍌🌟🍚 fresh coconut, black sticky rice + caramelised banana 🍚🌟🍌💫 Asian flavours are not only my favourite for savoury but for sweet too 👌🏽 for the sticky rice, soak it overnight with a little bit of white glutinous rice too. In the morning, cook it on low heat for about 45-an hour w a little bit of palm sugar and coconut milk (if you don't have Palm sugar, any will work.. Or use blended medjool dates, which is what I did!) then for the bananas, I just heat up a non stick pan and lay them flat side down w some cinnamon and sugar until they start to get soft and fragrant. I made plain 🍌 ice cream to go with these 🍦
🍃🌟one for you, one for me 🌟🍃 baby spinach + vanilla & dragonfruit + vanilla ✔️ topped w starfruit + passionfruit + @thesourcebulkfoods cacao nibs 🌟 simple breakfasts are a win 👌🏽
what's your favourite ice cream flavour? nothing beats peanut butter + chocolate for me... But passionfruit + berries topped w meringue fluff would be next! If you haven't tried topping nicecream with meringue fluff, give it a go! It's next level creamy 😜 x
Post cardio greenz refuel 🍃🌟🍃🌟 baby spinach + vanilla + 🍌 + ⭐️ + 🍫 + passionfruit = 💥 lately I've been feeling like the key to feeling my best has been sweating and eating tonnes of greens! I've always done cardio but I feel like doing that extra bit (whatever it be) that makes me sweat rather than just slightly raise my HR, makes all the difference! 🍃 ps I've been topping everything w @thesourcebulkfoods cacao nibs ... They are so crunchy I'm in heaven 👌🏽
why you should be having a tonne of vitamin C daily: • it has antioxidant properties that protect your skin & make it glowing + radiant • it's considered an essential building block for collagen • it's key in reducing inflammation • being a water soluble vitamin, it's readily excreted and we cannot store it in our bodies • as for supplements, our body prefers vitamin C from food. Think of it this way; edible plants are the perfect package as they contain vitamin C with other nutrients, bioflavonoids, fibre and unique compounds that all work together in synergy. When you take a supplement, it's still effective, but not only were our bodies not made to recognise single nutrients, you also miss out on all of the other beneficial compounds from a whole food • it has been proven to cure several types of cancer in large doses - especially when in combination with other beneficial plant compounds (like mentioned in previous point) found in 🍃WHOLEFOODS🍃 .. Try a citrus smoothie! blend up a whole bunch of different citrus + you could add greens (which I didn't for the sake of a pretty picture 😩😂) - note: if you're adding pomelo which I did in this smoothie, remove the skin between the segments! You can eat it but it tends to be a bit bitter and hard to chew. - also, if you're wanting glowing skin.. Check out @meraki.beauty 😉 I make face masks + body scrubs + shampoo! Have a lovely day every one 🌟
somethins got me craving ice cream lately 🍦 intensely ... 😶 the recipe for this choc peanut butter ice cream was: Blended frozen nanas + cacao + pb2 + medjool dates The scoops were plain choc (cacao and banana) For the toppings I used chopped medjool dates, dried mulberries, popcorn + homemade rawnola For the sauces: choc was cacao powder mixed w just enough brown rice malt syrup + water. Peanut sauce: peanut butter + pb2 + water. You can grab the mulberries and cacao powder from @thesourcebulkfoods 👌🏽 Crunchy + chewy + creamy = 💥
