i’m 24, i like to crochet/knit/make things, big fan of long walks and parks, engineer by day, and usually found with (minimum) 3 books in rotation

50%… plot has picked up 🥳🤩 but i’m still having to ignore a bit of what mc is thinking to enjoy and engage. the lack of place being established early on is becoming a problem. like… where are we, when are we, when you talk about “recovering/returning stolen (African) artifacts” but using american dollars at a magical school that at the very least is not in Africa…i’m beginning to be confused

60%, 10 hours in, we’re getting the beginning of the lovers in enemies to lovers, shocked and awed bc i thought she was going to Have Him Murdered or Do It Herself but hey! bigger things afoot. if i simply ignore everything mentioned above i think i like it, might even read book 2 <3
