Here’s some things to know about me & my interests!
- I’m a 22-year-old cishet woman with autism, I’ve been had a lot of hyperfixations and I never stop loving them even when I fall out of my hyperfixations again and again, I eventually have a relapse in them sometimes.
I joined tumblr bc I’ve heard that it is a very accepting place for fandoms and I’ve been on my Instagram fanpage/s for years where I have dealt with a bunch of unwelcome hate in addition to my real life middle school experience that still affects me to this day in the sense that it has made me more cautious and reserved when it comes to talking about my interests with other people because I'm scared of judgement, and I’m looking to finally have a safe social space where I won’t get any of that and I can be my true self and fangirl as hard as I want. To be clear, only a select few of the artists I listen to are ones that I’m a super fan of and know almost everything about them, everyone else I either know a couple things about them or almost nothing and I just like them for their music. - My favorite ships are Jelsa (Jack Frost from ROTG and Elsa from Frozen) a very nostalgic ship for me that I got obsessed with when I was 10-12 and I’ve never stopped shipping it even though I’m not as obsessed as I used to be, the love square from Miraculous Ladybug, Laurmau from Aphmau’s Minecraft role play series, especially MCD, I used to ship Garmau in addition to shipping Laurmau but I think Garroth’s silliness in Mystreet kinda turned me off from the idea of him and Aphmau together so I just shipped Laurmau. I only ship Aarmau in the Mystreet series bc that’s the only series where it feels right for them to be canon (except for their age gap when they first met😬). Jess wrote Aarmau as the canon ship in almost every series she has created (besides the series that don’t have the characters Aphmau and Aaron in them) and I got really tired of it and wanted something new so I became a BIG Laurmau shipper. Zane~Chan from Aphmau’s Mystreet series, I’ve shipped Peter Pan with Wendy in the original Disney movie and almost every adaptation of Peter Pan, Shirbert (Gilbert Blythe and Anne Shirley from Anne With An E), Benedict x Sophie from Bridgerton.
- I’m not really much of an anime person but I like Toradora, AOT, My Happy Marriage, and I enjoyed Fruits Basket overall, there are just some things about it that I really dislike.

Elbow Grease such an unfortunate name to have and not to mention that it’s very not on theme. I wonder if the devs of this game started to get lazy about the names when they got to this character😭
I just had a crazy dream that the first episode of MS7 immediately addresses the gross Aarmau age gap and some parts of it were confirming that Aaron is a predator and Aphmau was his victim but there was also one part that was kinda sympathizing for Aaron like “oh poor him” but I’m not too sure bc it didn’t go that deep into that, but for the rest of the episode it was basically fully un-romanticizing their relationship which was such a sharp contrast to the other seasons that are focused on framing Aarmau as such a good healthy endgame relationship that we should all root for.
Weirdly enough though, this dream didn’t really show Aphmau’s perspective at all, like, it didn’t show her realizing that she had been taken advantage of. It felt more like a breaking news story reporting that Aaron is a predator with evidence lol
Yeah! So in PDH while Aaron is still at that school he doesn’t seem to view freshmen as the significantly younger kids than him that they are because apparently he had a crush on Aphmau before he found out she was Shu and without her knowledge or consent he marks her with his scent so other werewolves won’t ask her out. And when he finds out that Shu and Aphmau are the same person he isn’t turned off by the fact that she’s that much younger than him because he already had a crush on her anyway💀
On my rewatch of PDH S1 I found an episode where Aaron and Aphmau say several lines that, I think, unintentionally highlights their age gap (ep 27) and I say unintentionally because I know that Jess’s intention was to romanticize their relationship and their dynamic is that Aphmau is the one who is more silly with immature humor and other tendencies while Aaron is more mature and reigns her in or pokes fun at her immaturity and now that I’m writing it out it looks bad in the context of their age gap but like, since Jess’s intention was to normalize and romanticize their age gap… like, generally that relationship dynamic —character A is silly w/ immature humor x character B is the comedic “straight man” — isn’t inherently bad so I think Jess just meant for her audience to focus more on their personality dynamics together rather than reading more critically into it with their age difference. But when you do watch it with your critical-thinking cap on the narrative framing no longer works.
After Aaron graduates and goes to college there are two times where he goes back to the high school and the first time he goes back it’s because he wants to see Aphmau and he sees her hugging Ein and misinterprets that as him being her boyfriend and he starts crying. The whole concept of a college student going back to his high school (and in this case I don’t think he even got permission to be there as a visitor like normal irl high schools require you to do, I think he just snuck in since he did have his hood up) to see his now sophomore girlfriend who has been way too busy with high school classes to go see him herself and he cries when he sees her hugging another boy (who is much closer in age to her) is very creepy and weird.
Also just Episode 29 of PDH S1. It’s not something that Aaron canonically does bc it’s all in Aphmau’s dream but it’s just Jess’s writing of their relationship that’s like “Aphmau needs to be more mature for Aaron by being honest with him about her feelings” the whole thing pmo so bad.
Oh, and they were online friends as FC & Shu since Aphmau was in middle school but we don’t know if they had told each other their ages since that info has never been given to us in the show but that does seem like the baseline amount of info that online friends would give each other if they’re both using aliases to protect their real names.
I dont blame Salvana for hating him, if u 18-22 and your gf is still in high school u shouldn't be together. If they got together when she was 17 anc him 18 that be fine. But he is 21 with a 17yr of.
And did he beef with Ein in PDH over aph. Like lil bro, let Ein have her. He may be shitty, but at lease he isnt a pedo. Like Garrith, Laur, Dante, Gene, Ein, even Kai (ik he did rlly like her, wasn't he just messing with her?) But those guys would have been 10x better.
Jess could have also had it to where they dated at 20 & 24. That would have been better.
Sylvanna never hated Aaron because he was too old for Aphmau, she hated boys in general getting too close to Aphmau (except for werewolves bc she fetishizes them) she just hated him more than all the other guys because he pursued Aphmau a lot, I think. If she did hate him because he was too old then Jess would have to write that and acknowledge that their age gap was inappropriate and it would clash with her narrative that this is a normal, healthy relationship.
I sort of disagree that Ein would be better for Aphmau because she was never into him and he wanted to force her to be with him so much so that when he grows up he uses forever potions on her to make her love him. He straight up dgaf about anything that she wants he just wants her for himself. I would prefer Aphmau to be with any other guy in the show that is in her age group.
No, Kai never had feelings for Aphmau at any point in the entire series, he was never messing with her. He did have a crush on Katelyn and only after Katelyn rejects him and tells him that Aphmau likes him he asks Aphmau on a date.
Yes, Jess had every opportunity to make Aaron and Aphmau have a normal age gap, be the same age, or have them be friends for a long time and then fall in love when they’re both adults because according to the TikTok she posted in 2024 where she addresses multiple rumors, one of them being that Jason groomed her, (they also have a 4 year age gap) she said that after she told Jason her real age —she lied to him until she turned 18— she then learned that an age gap like that is inappropriate and this was all before she even joined YouTube so when she wrote PDH S1 & S2 she was aware that Aarmau’s age gap was inappropriate but she still normalized it for her underage audience to see.
