Allison sat on the floor, afraid. Not of anyone, but of the dark thoughts and hallucinations that whirled through her head and rang in her ears. It felt like the ground was shaking, the wind was howling, the floor collapsing beneath her. Shes panicking, fearing that her life was at risk, when she sees someone through the fog. Melissa? Mercury? Arsenic? She saw amidst the haze her father. A terrifying, horrible man that seemed to exist just to abuse and harass her. As he stomped forward, she slowly crawled back, tears streaming down her face. As her back touched the wall, she was paralyzed with fear. She knew what was coming.
“Awww, come on baby-girl, I’m only here to protect you~” She could hear him say, with a sense of both lust and anger with every word he spoke. She was tired of it. Tired of him hurting her. She was finally ready to strike back. “But did you do it? Did you ever do such a thing? What should make me believe that you’ll ever protect me?!” She screamed, terrified. She was sobbing at this point. Suddenly, she snapped back into reality to see Mercury in front of her, scared. “M-Mercury?” She muttered as he cradled her. She was so happy to see his face once more.
