“Incendio parvos.” The mutter gives the tip of his wand a small flame, safe enough to light the end of his cigarette and keep his eyebrows. He’s had enough classes with Seamus to know how homely a lack of eyebrows can be and Blaise isn’t eager to try. “You are the second person I’ve seen lighting up out here in the past few days. It’s becoming a popular spot.” Popular enough that the administration would soon take notice if they hadn’t already. At least Blaise could count on his house mates not ratting him out. He took a drag of the cigarette, grateful his feet decided to take him to Artemis. “I’d hesitate to stay out here once the sun goes down. The squid’s been in a mood lately.”
“Good to know, but it’s not like there’s a rule against smoking in public places at Hogwarts, is there? There is strength in numbers, after all, regardless... thanks for the concern but I’m pretty damn sure I can handle myself.” Although unnecessary, she felt the need to emphasize that statement. She would’ve added something more backhanded, but decided against it. At least Zabini wasn’t insulting her intelligence or credibility. "So how did the likes of you get into this sort of thing anyway?"
