I'm literally adopted myself and I am telling you that is a gross and dehumanizing thing to do. Other adoptees and their family members agree. We are not a fictional trope for you to idolize and romanticize.

I'm also literally adopted, and it is not dehumanizing in the least. Found family is about people you have found or who found you and took you as their own. not all adoptions are found family situations due to abuse, trafficking, etc, but MANY are.

Also, Laios and Falin are literally siblings so why would you even use Dungeon Meshi as an example?

You do not speak for all adoptees dude!! Also if you can read, it says "siblings can exist within found families" meaning that they are also a (biological) family members but also exist within a found family.

Call your own family a found family, the other adoptees and I kindly ask that you stop calling me and everyone elses found family. Surprise dude my parents didnt find me! They went through a legal process. We are not a found family.

Trans women will never be free until people stop having strong emotions about penises. Like we, as a society, have got to stop caring about dicks! Dicks have to stop symbolizing maleness, obviously, but they also have to stop symbolizing power, dominance, sexual agency and aggression, violence, and even sex itself. Like trans women can’t be free if the very conceptual presence of a penis represents an intrusion(!) of unwanted(!) sexuality(!) in public life.
