Happy Fitzier Sunday to all those who celebrate

I would have been done with this 2am sharp had a great portion of my time not gone to staring at the mans infected wound and his sad, chewed up fingers. He has that effect on people. Speaking of his effects. Who does it like Fitzjames? The hair. The award winning smile. The ass that just won't quit it. You look at him and wonder how he has spent a lifetime feeling so utterly inadequate and small, seeking the approval of others like he is not all that and then some. About fitzier: I thoroughly enjoy how much they despise each other at first. I wonder if Fitzjames thought of him every time he traced the outline of the barely-healed scar with his tongue in the days following their fight. Tasted remnants of blood, endured the sting, all to keep the memory of how good it felt for them to finally tear each other apart alive :D whereas Jopson yearns for punishment because he believes Crozier knows he can take it without flinching, something tells me that Fitzjames desires a fight with Crozier because for a brief moment, it levels the playing field, makes them equal, silences that hideous voice in the far back of his mind that lets him know what a big fraud he is. I wish Fitzjames had been given the opportunity to hit him back. A proper scuffle. Thats all!

it's so difficult to get people into The Terror because, in my opinion, you really have to watch it *at least* twice to get the full experience... like every little detail is a setup for something that happens later, and you don't realize how insane it was at the time until the payoff five episodes later. and then you rewatch and you get to be like Oh My God... That's Why He Did That... and you really have to really lock in when you watch it, like some of the best parts of the show just happen silently and aren't addressed out loud by anyone. also you may need a spreadsheet for characters because there are like 30 unique character arcs happening
