Children are much more intelligent than what we imagined them to be. They are independent explorers who are simply trying to discover this world with their own imagination. Aloe Vera juice.
Did you know that aloe vera helps with digestion, detoxification, alkalisation, boosting immunity and great skin?
Digestion: Aloe vera purifies and soothes the digestive system in your body and it decreases the amount of harmful bacteria in your gut. Constipation? or even diarrhoea? Drink aloe vera!
Detoxification: The movement of the gel in the intestines absorbs toxins which will then be removed through the colon. This movement will help with properly removing waste and detoxification in the body.
Alkalises your body: Aloe will help with the acidic food in our diets. It is know as an alkaline forming food.
Immunity booster: The stimulation of the white blood cells of your immune system is caused by the polysaccharides in the aloe juice. As we know that white blood cells are key for your body to fight viruses.
Great for skin: Aloe vera is known as vulnerary meaning that it heals wounds and a great remedy to apply to burns, injuries, bug bites and a skin condition called psoriasis. Aloe is a moisturiser as in contains 99% water, meaning that it is great with soothing and softening skin.
By drinking aloe vera juice it will assist in weight loss due to the detoxification and digestion in the body.
*Please do some further research in regard to the intake of aloe vera juice. It might not be for everyone so please be aware of this.
Having a clean home is important to your mind, body and soul. Cleanliness is a key to inviting positive energy! Here are some tips to cleanse your home making it a positive healthy environment.
1. Smudging. Its a very ancient traditional method that clears all negative energy. Light up the sage stick and make sure to get the smoke all around your house as the smoke gets rid of any negativity luring in the air.
2. Clutters. Having clutters underneath your bed or around your house is not a good idea as it feeds the negative energy. It is also a cause for depression. We don't want that now do we!
3. Colours. I strongly believe that the choice of colours in the house affects the mood and energy. By keeping the colours light, soft and earthy, it will create a very positive energy.
4. Clean air. Having a clean air invites all positive energy into your home. Getting a Hepa Filter for your home would help to purify the air and cleansing it in your home. Plants such as bamboo palm, english ivy, and golden pothos are known to also oxygenate and cleansing the air.
5. Remember to change the air conditioning and heater filters at least once a year! This is to reduce the build up of dust in the air. Also to regularly vacuum.
6. By placing positive images, posters or arts in your home will create a more positive mind therefor letting positive energy in.
7. No shoes at home. I was brought up with the rule of "NO SHOES ALLOWED INSIDE". It is also part of being in an asian culture. It is a sign of respect to take of your shoes before entering. Theres a reason why we use our shoes outside! So why would you use them inside your home? By not using shoes at home it will keep the air and environment clean.
This may not be everyone as some people have religious beliefs which may prohibit some of these methods. If thats the case, keep all intentions pure and to just have a clean home.
Today i had a negative experience. That made me walk home feeling completely guilty and horrible. I had a good thought about it as i walked home. People really do have the power to control your mood. I quickly felt that i am loosing to my own emotions and got back up. This wasn't easy. I keep telling myself to not let negative people mess up with my mind. I started cursing and insulted her in my mind- But wait! Stop. Never judge a person despite how they make you feel. This will just make your mind uglier and negative. Instead i considered, maybe because she's busy, or stressed or simply just having a bad day. I got home and wrote out my feelings. Telling myself its healthier to let it out of your body and onto a piece of paper. I re-wrote the event that happened. And felt better. I guess what I'm trying to say is that if someone out there made you feel angry or hateful and judgmental, don't let it fully get to you. Try to calm yourself as much as possible and think of your health. Write it out and let the hate and anger flow out of you... In return you will feel like a new person, happy and care free!
Healthy Habits AND diets in your daily life!
It is a challenge to change your diet! i know this because it is a challenge I'm facing. Picking up an apple instead of a cookie is indeed very hard. But thats okay! Take it slow and make little changes in your daily life. Let your body work its way through changing your views and habits through the little changes!
1. First advice i always receive and give is no to soda! Not even diet or sugar free ones. Diet sodas consist of artificial sweeteners which are worst than the actual sugar. This artificial sweeteners triggers the brain into craving more of it! It also has an effect on your waistline by increasing it!
2. Drinking 2-3 cups of green tea a day can help flush out toxins out of your body and increasing your metabolism rate which helps with weight loss.
3. Always eat the colours on your plate. By this i mean eat up all the veggies before your grains and protein. It will help with the digestion in your body.
4. Drink a cup of lemon water every morning. Preferably warm! Lemon water alkalises your body!
5. Try to stay away from salad dressings... Just add olive oil, lemon and vinegar to keep it simple and light.
6. Replace all your grains to whole grains or whole wheat grains. Such as brown rice, whole grain spaghetti etc.
7. Stay away from all fast foods! They're an absolute poison to your body.
8. Eat your fruits and nuts! But make sure not to take more than 15-20 nuts a day! There's always a limit to everything...
9. I recommend staying away from cereals. yes it may have healthy labels, but cereals are known to have artificial sweeteners and in most cases bulk loads of sugar! Just feed on plain rolled oats with not flavours or fruits.
10. Steam the food! Steaming will help retain the vitamins in the food and would also make it fresh and tasty.
11. Ditch the sugar. Instead use honey or stevia.
12. Drink 4-8 cups of water a day.
13. Refrain from eating 2 or 3 hours before bed. As your metabolism rate slows down in the night.
These are the practices of my daily life. And has worked for me. Remember that balance of nutritions is the key to a healthy diet. You are what you eat so don't be cheap and fake. Respect your body by feeding fresh foods to it.

Daikon Hip Bath
During my research of women's health natural remedy, i came across the daikon hip bath and was blown over by all the benefits of it! This bath is great for women's reproductive organs and helps flush out excess fats and oil in the body which in return will improve certain skin conditions.It is also believed to reduce body odour.
1. Dry fresh daikon leaves or purchase them.
2. Gather 4-5 daikon leaves into a pot
3. Add at least one litre of water into the pot to bring to boil
4. Reduce the heat and let it simmer until it browns in colour
5. Add a cup of sea salt to the pot. Stir to dissolve
6. Pour the hot mixture in a tub or bath. Fill the tub according to your waist height.
7. Cover your upper body with a towel. Keep the water as hot as possible to encourage perspiration.
8. Stay in the bath for 10-20 minutes. And be sure to keep yourself warm after stepping out of the bath.
It is best to do this bath at bed time and at least an hour after meal.

A dancing for every one, every size, every where.
Belly Dancing teaches us that every body is beautiful. When you're dancing you begin to believe in your beauty and embrace every inch of it. Belly dancing offers a movement that highlights the curves and femininity within you. It brings out ones inner goddess! It creates an energy in your body and in return making you all feel good and positive about yourselves. I think of belly dancing as a way to get to know my body, to discover more then skin, guts and bones. It connects me deeper into my body and leaving me with a positive vibe about myself.
Why not belly dance? just do it to deepen the love for your body! it reduces stress and relaxes you! JUST jiggle them all out!?

Personal Reflection to my previous post (Love yourself despite the FLAWS)
Its not easy to love yourself thats for sure. It can take you weeks months or in most cases YEARS! And it's fine because thats the challenge we all face in life. Learning to love ourself and appreciate everything. I must admit i am not 100% happy with everything i have but i do accept it. Accepting my flaws is one thing i only recently discovered that i could do. And when i did i felt so much at peace with my body.
Travelling. Travelling has helped me with appreciating myself a little more. Maybe its all the vibe from the nature? i don't know but i surely did feel at peace. It helped me with accepting my flaws and living with it. Because i had a lot of alone time. I sit by the beach or high up the mountain and think. It really rejuvenated me. I have no regrets and recommend anyone to do this!
Smile always~ theres something about smiling that just lightens up your mood. Think of smiling as a charity. Smile at anyone down the street. You don't know who's day you can change by a simple sweet smile :-) x

Love yourself despite the FLAWS-
*These are my thoughts and personal beliefs. No judgment...
Every morning when you wake up, the first thing you must always do is tell yourself that you are beautiful and strong. And just keep it positive. Your mind will work its way to believe it and soon you will really feel beautiful.
Be aware of the benefits to loving yourself. You would start to appreciate yourself a little more by having an awareness.
Change the way you're thinking. We tend to get too deep into our emotion and tell ourselves all the negative things... Since we have all the power to our mind, we tend to believe our own thoughts. (Back to step one... Tell yourself that every morning and you will see wondrous change)
Don't judge yourself. God created us with the balance of good and bad. Search the good qualities within yourself, be it as little as "i have a great smile", "my hair is long and soft" and etc. Never look at the negative within yourself as it will manipulate your mind. Just keep your mind on the good side of yourself.
Learn to forgive. Forgiving is the hardest. But start somewhere. Forgive yourself for all the hateful things you've done. Remember* if you keep holding the grudge within yourself you will create a disease in your heart that would cause depression, anxiety and etc. Just let it go!
Believing in yourself. When you take control of yourself emotionally you will realise that love will slowly grow; From love of your body to love of mind and happiness. Start to believe the words you tell yourself every morning. In order for others around you to believe in you, you must start believing in yourself.
Accept the flaws. Look around you. Nobody's perfect. NOT EVEN MODELS. If everyone else can accept their flaws, why cant you? you must accept yourself for who you are. Have some challenge. Fight your negative mind to accept the flaws. It shouldn't hurt.
Be aware that you're not alone. Many adults go through this challenge in life.
Time to release the tension!
"Keep Calm & Meditate"
Meditation has a lot of benefits to it.
- It increases immunity. Studies showed that intense muscle relaxation reduces the chances of breast cancer.
-Emotional Balance. It is not easy to get rid of negative emotions in the body as it takes time and deep concentration of relaxation.It will cure mental illnesses and free your mind and soul from all the negative emotional energy.
-Increases fertility. Studies showed from UWA that women who are more relaxed with themselves will find it easier to conceive a child. Not only for women but men too, as it will boost their fertility.
- Lowers blood pressure. By being relaxed, your body will ignore all the stress hormones. Meditating has the same effects as the supplements given to HBP patients. so what's your choice? Chemical induced drug or a natural remedy?
- Calmness. A mind of a meditator has control over the thoughts that occur in their mind. Negative thoughts are taught to die over time by using the powers of meditating. Yogi's or even meditators often have a glow of calm in their skin. This is my opinion... I feel as though our positive mind rejuvenates our skin and gives us a healthy glow.
Don't forget to always breath through meditation. This allows your body to rejuvenate and cleanse all the negative energy out. I find that imagining peaceful thoughts and images soothes my mind as i meditate. Make sure that the images are vivid enough to wash you out completely. Musics that plays a calming effect really helps me with fully relaxing my body. I can even meditate for 40 minutes without realising! last but not least; incense stick! If you're indoors i suggest some incense stick to create the mood and cleanse the air making it lighter to breath in.
