By the time he ‘died’ in 1918, fm radio was barely a thing (it wasn’t common to have a radio and the few existing stations weren’t playing music regularly— it was mostly news and shows until the 40s). Music was heard live, or not at all.

A 2023 update on an old draft of the Princess of Doriath and the Hound of Valinor in search of Beren. Also some older concepts of Lúthien as well.

It's been like a decade since I was super active in the Simarillion fandom (particularly here on tumblr), but I hope to create more art for it again.

This Lúthien and Huan piece has been something I've wanted to finish for a long time (also this is just a cropped preview of the much larger full body piece).
