4T2 Senate Eden Collection

happy halloween everyone!! i'm glad i got this done this month, Details/Download under the cut in order of the pictures.

this is a 4T2 conversion for the senate eden collection i didn't convert all recolers i converted about 15-20 recolors for each item with the cherie set i didn't know whether full body or seperates would be better obviously i ended up doing seperates.

Cherie Top has 4k poly count.

Cherie Pants has 5k poly count. the shoes are mauvemorn DriesVanNoten Sandals 4T2 by julie J

Bianca Jumpsuit Has 7k poly count. also uses mauvemorn DriesVanNoten Sandals 4T2 by julie J

Guava Dress Has 9k poly count. and i converted Jius Platform Sandals 06 from the sims 4 for this outfit

Stepenie Mini Dress has 12k poly count. the shoes are Chanella Bradford HC19 Serpent High Heel Stilettos these took some tlc original poly count for just the shoes was 18k

Stepenie has 11k poly count. also uses Chanella Bradford HC19 Serpent High Heel Stilettos

Eva has 8k poly count. the shoes are Kurimas 4t2 -Suede Heels by Jius

I think I understand now why so many people just play Pleasantview over and over again as opposed to Strangetown or Veronaville. While there are a lot of reasons that contribute (number of premades and lots, aesthetics, ''"realism,"'' everyone being related, etc) I think the main thing is that Pleasantview's storyline can most easily be played out through gameplay in a way that Strangetown and Veronaville's can't.

Pleasantview's story revolves mainly around domestic drama like cheating, gold digging, being left at the alter. All of these things the mechanics of the game directly enable you to do. Compare that to say, playing the Beaker family. If you want Nervous to stage a daring escape from his captors you have to... just sort of shuffle them around like dolls and make believe in your head. Then, if you decide to move him out, no matter what a taxi's gonna pick him up and the Beakers will wave him off with a smile.

I think the most frustrating example of this is Antonio Monty's family, where there are all these big implications surrounding Hero's death, and that Benedick "may one day be essential to solving his mother's death" yet the devs gave no further indication as to how to play this story out or a definitive answer as to how Hero died. The devs are basically asking you to fabricate the entire storyline all on your own, and doesn't really provide any in game mechanics to aid you in said storytelling. That's a lot to ask of the player when they could just load up a fresh Pleasantview and have all the drama/story already set up for them.

I think Strangetown and Veronaville are perfect for people who want to write fanfic, film machinimas, or create narrative driven series to share with others, but I don't think they are the most fun to actually play. Personally, I find that Strangetown and Veronaville are more fun conceptually, but Pleasantview is far more practical in its execution.

Pleasantview Renovations | Broke Family 🍷🚬

Been thinking about giving Pleasantview a real go for the first time and was heavily inspired by the Broke family soooo this is what i've got. been rebuilding my downloads folder too so it's not as decorated as i would have liked but we thug it out,,,

i think my main focus is doing somewhat of a different storyline than what the scripted events follow. wanna enjoy each family for what they are and decide where to go from there

with the broke family, i have so many ideas and am pulling a lot inspiration from the experiences of my own life and people i know (closely and distantly)

🏡 350 Followers Gift : The Pleasantview Neighborhood 🎉

🏞️ It's a map I made I while back, that i used for my very old uberhood, it contains a large residential section, a small commercial section and a "small country village" section. I used it to host Pleasantview, Riverblossom Hills, Belladonna Cove & Desiderata Valley homes, that why there are a lot of individual spaces for houses. I've refreshed it a bit to give it to you. I had furnished it back then with remade Maxis lots, TS1 lots and the Bespokes houses by @honeywellsdownloads.

It's not perfect, or spectacular, but this map provides a basis for many constructions and improvements, according to your abilities and desires.. It's an empty map, without lots or sims. 🗺️

🏢 There are lots of empty spaces to help you build houses or apartments in the right places. I recommend criquette's walls and fences for Feverfew. It's in keeping with her neighborhood deco

🏬 example of where you can place Maxis or empty lots. I made a spot for the Woodland Park and I left a space for a big Cemetary. The neighborhood deco is visible from Lot view. However, I recommend using an invisible barrier like the criquette's one to prevent your sims from crossing fences they can't see 🌳

🏛️ The large empty place in front of the town hall is designed to house the TS1 McArthur Square 🍃

🏠 You can also use more of my TS1 lots to fill your neighborhood

🏚️ The poor part of town as a weird shape, to make it look more natural
