Scientists are finding a way to reconstruct faces that people are seeing using brain scans.

As you can see there’s a LOT to be improved, but they are getting there. 

They managed to get skin color and the presence/absence of a smile right but gender needs to be improved upon.

On average they got about 60 to 70% correct, which is better than nothing.
