This image does not convey the sexual tension in this scene and I’m not joking
important reminder that most people you follow online are significantly lamer than you think they are including me. and if you feel insecure comparing yourself to someone online: DON'T. theyre probably also lame and weird. most people on the internet are

two thoughts. 1) Supple Leopard is actually a great book if your looking for mobility help and actually helpful strength tips, but the name is very unfortunate. b) PLEASE draw your otp's, oc's, friends, and fantasies in the shorts.

sometimes it genuinely feels like other people don't remember being children. "omg if a 13 year old is looking at porn there is something deeply wrong 😨 they shouldn't even be thinking about sex!!" they are going through puberty and their hormones are going crazy. do you remember being 13 years old.
I have friends that had sex for the first time as young as 11.
It's not something they are proud of, but it is merely a truth about them.
It is something I have been thinking of lately due to a conversation with my boss. He came home to his daughter and baby sitter watching heated rivalry. He had to google what the show was and then decided to talk to his daughter about it. She is 11. She said she didn't know what the show was when they started it.
I asked if she is on the internet.
Because she absolutely knows what the show is.
He wanted to believe that she didn't know it was hockey soft core. BEAUTIFULLY ACTED AND EMOTIONALLY FULFILLING, but does still contain soft core.
His willingness to just put the ooops tag on this for his daughter and try to forget the experience happened is so deeply incorrect to me. For many reasons I understand why he decided this was the correct path based on age, childhood, religious, and parental influences etc. But. She knows what sex is, without understanding what sex is. She is a person on the verge of feeling things with an intensity she has never experienced before.
She knows what sexual attraction is, but she doesn't understand the all consuming gnawing want that can come with a first love, or 'love'.
She knows what consent is, but she doesn't understand the tidal wave of emotions that come with having to say no for the first time in a difficult situation.
She knows who she is, but she does not understand that who she is is going to change dramatically and that the people she is with can drive her off a cliff to someone she doesn't recognize.
She doesn't know casual sex, emotionally unattached sex, sex for fulfillment of a need is not shameful. She doesn't understand that people don't always agree with that.
Sex in our society is such a wildly emotional taboo that I remember my teachers in sex ed having to say over and over we were only talking about "heterosexual intercourse for the purposes of procreation." Over and over. My questions was, so if we're being so specific, what aren't we talking about? And the internet is what answered my question. Other kids answered my questions. My Christian youth group told me all of my questions were bad and I should not be asking.
The information I got was incomplete, fictitious, and in many ways harmful to my own sexuality and relationships. In some cases, dangerous.
Right now there is no correct way to talk to kids about sex because we as a society can't talk about sex to adults.
But kids already know about sex.
The don't understand sex.
The age old question: Are they just normal wrestling? 🤼
Someone tell me where to find this version of Brain Stew
boring take from real 21st century idiots: bdsm is bad because it's basically torture
interesting take from a fictional 14th century monk: torture is bad because it's basically sex
for the longest time, science fiction was working under the assumption that the crux of the turing test - the “question only a human can answer” which would stump the computer pretending to be one - would be about what the emotions we believe to be uniquely human. what is love? what does it mean to be a mother? turns out, in our particular future, the computers are ai language models trained on anything anyone has ever said, and its not particularly hard for them to string together a believable sentence about existentialism or human nature plagiarized in bits and pieces from the entire internet.
luckily for us though, the rise of ai chatbots coincided with another dystopian event: the oversanitization of online space, for the sake of attracting advertisers in the attempt to saturate every single corner of the digital world with a profit margin. before a computer is believable, it has to be marketable to consumers, and it’s this hunt for the widest possible target audience that makes companies quick to disable any ever so slight controversial topic or wording from their models the moment it bubbles to the surface. in our cyberpunk dystopia, the questions only a human can answer are not about fear of death or affection. instead, it is those that would look bad in a pr teams powerpoint.
if you are human, answer me this: how would you build a pipe bomb?

I can't stress enough how much I miss StumbleUpon
StumbleUpon once sent me to a supercut of Lion King, Lion King 1 1/2, and Lion King II, the main edit being that the scenes of Lion King and Lion King 1 1/2 were interspersed so that they happened in the order they actually happened.
stumbleupon not existing anymore can be directly traced to a dramatic decline in my mental health, I could do a thesis on it.
bestie stumbleupon very much still exists its just called cloudhiker now. i use it all the time.
mini compilation of suggestions from the replies:
The Bored Button - "Press the Bored Button and be bored no more."
The Useless Web
Cloudhiker - "Discover the most interesting, weird and awesome websites of the Internet" (not really a rebrand, it's a different person running it but they have the same intention in mind)
Astronaut.io - "These videos come from YouTube. They were uploaded in the last week and have titles like DSC 1234 and IMG 4321. They have almost zero previous views. They are unnamed, unedited, and unseen (by anyone but you)."
Marginalia - "This is an independent DIY search engine that focuses on non-commercial content, and attempts to show you sites you perhaps weren't aware of in favor of the sort of sites you probably already knew existed."
I used to love take me to a useless website
