This goes for assholes, too, guys. I know a couple who went tubing once, and they had to re-air their tubes, but the guy thought it would be funny to stick the tip of the air compressor up to her bikini trunks, the air ruptured something inside her and she died within thirty minutes.
Reblogging with a link because I thought this was a legit joke. Never heard it before. Like I knew you could kill a person by inserting air into a vein but still.
As a general rule of thumb, do not push air into any bodily orifice, regardless of gender. It never ends well. Air compressors and the human body do NOT mix.
my next release for 'Flower from Across the Sea' is going to take some more time. I'm figuring the plot out as I write, but in the meantime i'm willing to answer any questions you guys have! just send them in my inbox
also, thank you so much for reading the fic, I never thought people would like reading this <3

After Sukuna’s departure, you were unsure of what exactly happened. Your heart pounded in your chest, and a cold wave of confusion washed over you, leaving you unsteady on your feet. Fear lingered, mixing with a strange sense of hopefulness you could hardly explain. You could still feel the grip he had on your chin; it was unforgiving yet gentle in its own way, and the memory left your skin tingling with anxiety. The room felt suffocating, with too many eyes fixed on you, making your mouth go dry and your thoughts swirl. But there wasn’t much time to ponder, since Hinako and Tsumiki both helped you stand up and led you away from the other girls, who were all staring at you. Tsumiki went to talk with Miss Chiyo, who was counting coins from a pouch she had just gotten from Uraume.
“Chiyo-san, are you sure (Y/N) will be alright? She doesn’t understand Japanese yet. What if this will anger Lord Sukuna?”
Chiyo huffed as she closed her coin pouch, then dismissively waved her hand at Tsumiki, signaling she was done discussing the matter.
“It’ll be alright, Lord Sukuna knows the foreigner doesn’t speak Japanese, so it’ll be his problem now. “
She put the coin-filled pouch away in her sleeve, nodding her head towards you.
“Our job now is to send her to his estate and make sure she looks absolutely dazzling. Use our finest kimonos to dress her tomorrow; we cannot disappoint Lord Sukuna. He paid good money for her, after all.”
Tsumiki pursed her lips before reluctantly nodding her head, bowing in respect.
“Y-Yes, Chiyo-san. We understand.”
Tsumiki turned around and walked over to you and Hinako. The two girls talked for a moment, their expressions worried. Hinako looked over at you and let out a sigh.
“Come on, (Y/N), we still need to practice your Japanese.”

As preparations unfolded in one place, elsewhere the atmosphere was much different.
Sukuna returned to his estate with Uraume by his side. The servants all got on their knees, bowing out of fear and respect to welcome their Lord’s return. Sukuna didn’t spare them a glance, simply walking towards his throne. For Sukuna, cruelty was not just habit, but a deliberate show of power—a way to remind everyone of their place beneath him. When one servant girl stuck out a bit farther than the rest, he didn’t walk beside her. Instead, he simply stood on her hands, crushing them under his feet.
The girl let out a blood-curdling scream when her hands broke, her bones sticking out of the flesh. Sukuna paused, looking down at her with simple annoyance in his gaze, as if she were a pesky fly buzzing too loudly. He moved his hand, and before one could blink, her head was separated from her body. Sukuna looked down at a random servant, nodding his head to the body.
“Clean this mess up and prepare her body. I’m famished.”
The servant quickly nodded his head, scrambling to clean up the corpse. Sukuna moved towards his throne of skulls and sat down, resting his head against his fist.
“Uraume, call the concubines here.”
The white-haired curse user nodded their head, bowing in respect before swiftly moving to gather Sukuna’s concubines. Soon enough, they all stood in a line in front of his throne. When the last concubine arrived, Sukuna cleared his throat, letting out a low hum as his four eyes gazed over each and every one of the women standing before him.
“You, the one in purple. Step forward.”
The concubine Sukuna, whose name was Miyuki, straightened up. Her eyes widened as she carefully stepped forward, looking up at Sukuna.
“Y-Yes, Lord Suku-”
Miyuki couldn’t even finish her sentence before her body was split in two, falling onto the ground. All the other concubines screamed and cried at the horrific sight of the first wife’s deceased body. The King of Curses simply clicked his tongue, dismissively waving his hand.
“Uraume, clean this up. And get rid of all the personal items inside her room. That foreign girl is going to be living there from now on, so have it prepared for her arrival tomorrow.”
Uraume nodded their head before swiftly starting the clean-up process. Meanwhile, the other concubines were all shocked at Miyuki’s sudden death.
“F-Foreign girl?”
One concubine asked, looking at the other girls as they whispered among each other.
“Is Lord Sukuna getting a new concubine? And she’s a foreigner?”
The concubines left the throne room once dismissed by Sukuna, talking amongst each other about this mysterious new concubine coming tomorrow.

Your hand hurts from all this writing. Why was learning kanji so hard? At least it was a little easier than trying to understand conversations. Reading and writing have always been your strong suit when learning a new language, after all.
“Wow, your handwriting is so pretty, (Y/N)! I’m so jealous!”
Tsumiki remarked, smiling brightly at you. At that moment, Hinako had entered the room you two were writing in, holding something behind her back.
“Hinako? What are you hiding there?”
Tsumiki asked, her eyes glinting with curiosity.
“It’s not for you, if that’s what you’re asking! "It's for (Y/N)!”
Hinako revealed a couple of small books she was hiding behind her back, handing them to you. A smile spread on your lips as you gratefully accepted the gift. You opened one of them, noticing it was some kind of vocabulary list.
“I made it myself. It doesn’t contain every word inside, but it’ll help you learn Japanese better. This other book is meant for practicing your kanji, and this last one can be used as your own diary.”
You flipped through the pages of the kanji practice book and the vocabulary bundle. You felt moved by Hinako’s act of kindness. You wrapped your arms around both her and Tsumiki, holding them in a warm embrace.
“Thank you, both. For everything. I'll miss you two.”
The two girls' eyes started filling with tears. They both sobbed as they held onto you, hugging you back as they spoke simultaneously.
“We’ll miss you too, (Y/N)!”
That night would be the last night that you shared a living area with the two girls. Despite the bumpy start you had, this week was quite eventful for you. Hinako and Tsumiki were like the sisters you never had, and you would certainly never forget the efforts they put in for you.

Uraume was gone by the time the two girls finished cleaning you up.
You haven't been this clean in ages; it felt weird. The girl with brown hair grabbed you by the hand, leading you out of the pool and leading your wet form to a different room in the bathing quarters. The black-haired girl was drying you up with a towel while the other rummaged through a closet. Eventually, she pulled out two weird-looking dresses; they seemed to be the same model as the one the older woman with black teeth was wearing.
"Which color do you want? True red, or emerald green?"
The brown-haired girl seemed to ask. Then, the girl who was drying you with a towel spoke up.
"Hinako, she doesn't understand you, you know. Those fishermen said she was a foreigner."
Hinako huffed, giving the other a look.
"Well, I can still ask, Tsumiki! Just dry her up proper!"
Your eyes moved between the two girls. You didn't know what they were saying, but from their tone, you could guess they were arguing about something. The brown-haired girl, whose name you think is Hinako, brought the two dresses closer to your face. Did she want you to pick one out?
"Uhm.. maybe this one?"
You pointed at the emerald green dress, hoping your point came across. Hinako nodded her head, putting the true red dress away, and walked out of the room with the emerald green dress. Tsumiki finished drying you with the towel and handed you some kind of silk undergarment. You put it on because you didn't want to stay naked if it wasn't necessary anymore. Hinako came back into the room with the emerald green dress, along with a big, white sash.
The two girls urged you to stand up, and they assisted you in putting on the dress. Hinako tied the white sash around your waist, tying it in a knot at the back. Meanwhile, Tsumiki stood on a stool so she could fix up your hair. Before long, you almost didn't recognize your reflection in the mirror. You seemed like a different person.
Tsumiki and Hinako walked with you out of the bathing quarters, where the older woman from before was waiting.
"Miss Chiyo-san! We cleaned and dressed up the foreigner, look!"
Hinako called out, pushing you towards the older woman, whom you assumed to be named Chiyo.
Chiyo looked over your form, letting out a low hum as she tilted your head with her hand. Once satisfied, she let go.
"Great job, girls. She looks just like one of us. Well, except for her unique features, of course. Listen carefully, Lord Sukuna will be paying us a visit at the end of the week. I want you two to teach this girl some basic Japanese."
Tsumiki and Hinako looked at each other and you, who was gazing around the courtyard in a daze.
"But, Chiyo-san, we don't know what language she speaks! How are we supposed to teach her Japanese before the end of the week?"
Tsumiki asked, a little frown on her face.
"Well, just teach her some basic words like 'yes' and 'thank you'. She doesn't need to understand entire conversations. If Lord Sukuna buys her, then that will become his problem."

You've been in this place for a few days, but it also feels like just a couple of hours. A lot has happened since you got stranded at that beach. You still have no idea where you are and if you're the only survivor of the shipwreck. The building where you're kept is unlike any place you've known: wooden floors that creak softly beneath every step, shoji screens sliding open to reveal rooms bathed in pale morning light, and corridors that twist around peaceful courtyards filled with smooth stones and trimmed bushes. Paper lanterns cast warm glows at night, their painted patterns dancing across the walls. Low tables are set for every meal, and before eating, you often see the women cleaning their hands with a small cloth, bowing slightly in what must be a custom here. Sometimes distant bells ring, echoing through the air. However, you did conclude some things: you're definitely not in India. You heard that people there had brown skin, but most people you've seen here are quite pale, or have a light tan. Plus, their eyes are quite small.
"Can they even see properly with those eyes?" You can't help but wonder.
The two girls who bathed and clothed you, Hinako and Tsumiki, seemed to be trying to communicate with you. They show you certain items and repeat words extremely slowly. You've learned a few words, but you're nowhere near fluent. It would certainly help knowing where you are, but you haven't found a map yet in this house.
"My name is Hinako. Hi-na-ko. What is your name?"
Hinako pointed at you as she repeated her words. You carefully processed them before responding.
"M-My name is.. (Y/N). My name is.. (Y/N)."
You also haven't tried leaving yet. After all, the women here never tried harming you, so you never had a reason to leave. It also wouldn't have been a good idea, since you don't know where you are and could risk getting killed.
In the time you've been here, you mostly just learn words with Hinako and Tsumiki and are taught to play some kind of string instrument by Chiyo. Surprisingly, the latter goes more smoothly than the former.
The food here is also quite strange. They eat rice here for almost every meal, including with some sort of vegetable soup and grilled fish or a fried egg. Where you're from, rice was mostly used in medicine. And if it was eaten, then only the noble could eat it. Back home, meals looked and smelled very different: your mother would simmer lentils with cumin and coriander, and every festival brought the warm scent of bread baked on hot stones. Even now, you sometimes crave the dinners between family. Despite the difference from your own palate, you always ate without complaint. After all, the food was quite delicious, even if strange.

About seven days have passed since your arrival. You've adapted quickly to your new life and the routine that came with it. So you were quite surprised when you were suddenly woken up by Hinako.
"(Y/N), wake up! Lord Sukuna is visiting today, we have to get you dressed up!"
You couldn't even process her sentence, and you were dragged off once again, just like when you arrived here for the first time. Hinako and Tsumiki undressed you, bathed you, and got you dressed up again. This time, Hinako didn't let you choose a kimono. She picked a true red one out and helped you put it on. Tsumiki put your hair up into an elaborate updo, adorning it with lots of hair accessories. Because of it, your head felt quite heavy.
Hinako spritzed perfume on your neck, wrists, and even your hair. It smelled like plums; it was quite nice. The two girls then led you to a hall where a bunch of other girls were standing in a straight line. Despite your confusion, you moved to stand next to a girl. You weren't sure for what you were waiting, but before you could ponder that, the doors opened. Chiyo stepped through the doors, along with Uraume. You noticed that all the girls suddenly got on their knees simultaneously. You quickly copied them, getting on your knees too and placing your hands on your lap, lowering your gaze just like the others.
Then, you could feel heavy footsteps approaching, and you heard Chiyo talking to someone. Was it the person with the white hair? You weren't sure.
"These are our most beautiful girls, Lord Sukuna. We even have a foreign beauty amidst them!"
You lifted your head up a little to see who Chiyo was talking to.
.
.
You couldn't believe your eyes at what you saw. The man before you, you aren't even sure if you can call him a man, had four arms and four eyes, a mouth on his stomach, spiky pink hair, and he was covered in tattoos. Compared to Chiyo, he was gigantic! You guessed that he was somewhere between 7 and 8 ft tall, but it was hard to see from your point of view.
You were so distracted by the fact that this man was anything but human, you didn't realize he was looking back at you. Your eyes widened, and you quickly lowered your gaze, screaming inside your head. Was he the 'Lord Sukuna' everyone was talking about? He sounded like a big deal, but you could never imagine that he'd look like that!
"He looks like one of those monsters from the stories mother used to tell me." You thought to yourself.
Sukuna walked across the room, his eyes roaming over every girl. They were all trembling; it amused him. But their looks bored him. He had plenty of concubines who looked like those girls. However, his interest piqued when Chiyo told him about the foreign girl. He stopped in front of you. His lower left arm grabbed your hand, pulling you up to your feet so he could inspect you better.
Your eyes widened a little at his rough handling. Your tongue acted before your brain could
"Hey, you can be more gentle, you moron! I'm not some kind of rag doll!"
You cussed him out, glaring up at Sukuna with fire in your eyes. Despite not understanding every exact word, he knew what message you tried to send out. The girls who were still kneeling all let out a gasp. Surely Lord Sukuna would not tolerate this kind of disrespect? But instead of crushing your skull with his hand, a grin spread across his lips as he turned to look at Chiyo.
"Feisty, this one. I like it. I'll be buying her, Chiyo. Send her to my estate tomorrow, you'll get your payment from Uraume."
Chiyo nodded her head, bowing out of respect.
"But of course, Lord Sukuna. It was a pleasure doing business with you."
The cursed sorcerer turned to look at you, staring you down as he held your chin, forcing you to look up at him.
"I'll decipher your little code soon enough, girl."

Your head was spinning, and you didn't know what was happening. You remembered being on a ship headed to India, sent by your father to begin your apprenticeship as a merchant's assistant. You were anxious but excited, replaying your farewell to your family and the promise you made to prove yourself. Then a loud crash and screams shattered everything. Did the boat sink? Are you dead?
When you opened your eyes, you felt sand beneath you. You were on a beach, with shipwreck debris nearby. As you slowly stood up, you noticed two men a few feet away with fishing supplies—likely fishermen.
Before you could speak, one of them lunged towards you, hitting you at the back of your head, and you were knocked out once more.
.
.
.
Some time later, you woke up again. "What time is it? Is it still the same day?" you couldn't help but wonder. As you opened your eyes, you saw that you weren't on the beach. Instead, you were inside some sort of building, lying on a bed made of smooth wood and bamboo mats. The walls around you looked like they were made of paper and wood frames, letting in a soft, diffused light. You couldn't even sit up fully until a woman entered the room. She had black hair, and it was put up with all sorts of pins and hair accessories. Her skin was white, and her teeth were black—a startling sight. You remembered hearing about some customs in distant lands where women dyed their teeth or wore elaborate robes, but seeing it in person made your heart jump, if it wasn't for the ache you felt in your body.
You also noticed that her clothes were strange. It had all kinds of patterns on it, and her sleeves were very large. The strange woman grabbed you by the hand and spoke to you in words you didn't understand. A different language? It certainly isn't your own. Before you could reply, even though it probably wouldn't be of any use, the woman dragged you out of the room.
You walked with her towards what looked like a bathing quarters. She suddenly clapped her hands together, and two younger girls appeared. One had short black hair, the other had short brown hair. The brown-haired one suddenly tried to undo your clothes. With your regaining strength, you pushed her away.
"Hey! What do you think you're doing, undressing me like that?!"
The brown-haired girl's eyes widened a little as you yelled at her. But while you were busy yelling, the girl with black hair started undoing your clothes too. You couldn't do much except for hurling curses at them in your own language, but it wasn't as if they would understand.
Completely bare, they pushed you deeper into the room. There was some kind of pool inside, and you reluctantly stepped into the water. After all, it would be better if you stopped struggling for now; it seemed like they just wanted to wash you. So you stayed still as the two girls washed your hair and scrubbed your body. The three of you were all silent, and soon enough, you were cleaned up.
.
.
.
Meanwhile, away from earshot. The older woman with the black teeth was talking to a person with white hair.
"We have a new girl in. She's truly a beauty! The seller told us she was a foreigner, isn't that something Lord Sukuna would want for a new concubine, Uraume?"
Uraume crossed their arms, their voice monotone and expression stoic.
"Lord Sukuna would have to see for himself. Expect his arrival at the end of this week. He's currently preoccupied with other matters."
Toji walked through the dark livingroom, slumping against the couch as he grabbed the remote, turning on the television. The light illuminated his tired face, the bags he had under his eyes and the slight glossy look in his eyes.
Without thinking, as if he were a machine, he moved over to his saved playlist and played the first video he had saved on there. It was titled: 'The song of summer in Japan'
"Summer, a time of laying in the sun and enjoying a nice cool drink at the beach. That's what most people think of when they hear that word. But here in the rural side of Japan, people think about one thing: the song of cicadas! You can be anywhere in Japan during summertime, but you will hear the buzzing of the cicadas."
On the screen, different shots of cicadas on trees could be seen. Toji didn't really focused on the contents of the documentary about cicadas. All he focused on was the sound of the narrator's voice, your voice.
"Here in Hokkaido, the cicadas are especially loud. Tourists find them to be quite annoying, locals are already used to the familliar buzz. But me personally? I do love hearing their buzzing. The reason why these insects hum is because from July to August it's their mating season! The males produces these loud buzzing sounds to attract potential mates, and-"
The camera then shifted as Toji's grabbed the camera, grinning.
"Will I get yer attention too if I buzz like that, hm?"
"Tojiii! I'm in the middle of a documentary!" Your voice rang out from the tv, a clear pout evident in your voice. Toji's grin on the tv just widened as he turned the camera around towards you, who was armed with all kinds of recording equipment
"Yeah, ya haven't been givin' me an ounce of attention, y'know? I'm feeling left out, sweetheart."
You huffed, but a smile crept it's way on your face soon enough, looking at the camera with a bright expression
"Okay, fine, I guess we can pause recording for a moment. C'mere you big baby."
Your arms spread out, and the video ended. It was paused at the frame of your arms open, waiting for Toji to hold you as you two would lay in the grass.
.
.
Toji stared at the screen, he couldn't will himself to move. He just kept staring, as if he were trying to will your form to manifest in front of him.
