i wish they would just let liam rest in peace. it's obvious the only person who has put any genuine thought and feeling about liam being gone is louis, and maybe zayn too in his own way, but when you compare how earnest they've been to how ingenuine the other two are... it's such an ick feeling. i need them both to never mention liam again unless it's with heart, which will be never for them lbr.

it's really gross they won't just close the 1d chapter when liam's tragically passed. if they had an ounce of respect for liam, they would shut it down. they don't tho. much like their stans who wanted liam gone and now salivate at the idea of a 3-piece 1d without him. but yea good luck with THAT sound without liam's pipes (and zayn's). sadly, i can see them throwing something together if their careers ever get irrelevant enough and they get desperate for money and fame. they'll call it a "tribute" i'm sure.

i agree with you except for the last part. i don't see louis wanting to reunite the band. he said in an interview once that the last time 1d was together liam was still there and it was "perfect". plus i believe h would rather do anything else than ever share a stage with his former bandmates again.

but yeah, out of respect for the one person who was constantly bombarded with reunion questions no matter what he did and was harassed for whatever answer he gave, they should really clear things up.

but yeah, i agree with you both. this whole band has left the fandom hanging in terms of a reunion ever since they went on "hiatus" and they should've cleared the situation up many many years ago. i just don't believe that they never talked about coming back as a band at any point since they allegedly have a group chat. and naming their solo careers as a reason to not come back makes no sense either way cause look at all these boy (and girl) bands who eventually came back, even if just for a bit. there was always at least one member with a successful solo career that didn't stop them from coming back.

but anyway. everyone who's not completely naive knows there won't be a comeback. the current lineup would consist of 3 people and they just wouldn't be good enough without liam. we all know this. they cancelled a show over him not being able to perform. and i truly believe that neither of these 3 would even want a reunion now.

however. in a way it does make sense that niall didn't mention liam's death as the reason for a reunion not happening. most of his fans hate liam and they would've called him all kinds of names (again), just like ztans talked shit about him after zayn postponed his tour for a bit after liam died.

overall i think the only 1d member who should be allowed to talk about liam is louis. at least he was honest enough to say that he doesn't see a reunion without liam.

the way they already started rewriting history WHILE it was happening is truly crazy. you would think liam was the biggest irl supervillain of all time based on how these people treat and talk about him. in their eyes he was never good enough as the other guys' friend, coworker, cheerleader, you name it, but now he's good enough as a plotpoint for how caring and loving their faves are and how sad they are to have lost someone they loved oh so much. I saw on twitter how many empty seats THAT person has on their shows, how many cheap resales there are and that they relocated people from upper seats down into better seats and I am genuinely laughing my ass off. Gives me so much satisfaction to see how bad the album has been doing and now this? Lol

It was all a lie though. Both nights the stadium was packed to the rafters. I challenge you to find any pictures of empty seats.

i'm gonna be so honest right now: i simply do not care enough about this man or his fans to look anything up. i don't care if the stadiums are empty or if everyone has to balance 3 additional people on their shoulders so that everyone can fit in there. i truly and genuinely could not give any less of a shit about him. everything that i've learned about him in the last 13 years was against my will. and yes i will mention or talk about him a bit occasionally but in general i could go on without ever doing so again and i'd be perfectly fine. so yeah. challenge denied i guess.

i'm looking through old lilo posts and i think it just properly hit me how much they loved each other. i know i talked about pretty much nothing else during my first 3-4 years on here but now that so much time has passed and with the overall experiences and knowledge i've gained since then i have absolutely no doubt that they were meant to be best friends, especially in their late teens and early 20s. i've barely seen two people bring out both the best and the worst (affectionately) in each other as well as they could. they just fit together. and they deserved at least 50 more years with each other.

i came across this picture again today and every time i see it it breaks my heart.

meeting fans has always been something he seemed to genuinely enjoy. i'm glad that he got to spend some time with people who loved him, that he got to walk away with the feeling that he made them happy. even when he wasn't doing well, he made sure the fans didn't feel that way.

but seeing him happy and hopeful, especially on that day, while knowing what's gonna happen makes me sick in a way that's difficult to describe.

I got colleagues who are incapable of thinking, working, or living without chatgpt anymore. It's bleak. Just a year or so ago, they were perfectly capable humans. Now, condependent idiots unable to function without a programmed bot telling them what to do. Unbelievable tbh. Call me old fashioned idc.

As for he who shan't be named and his horrid stans, I wish they would all stfu about Liam already. HS included. They talk so much shit. Like Liam wasn't relentlessly bullied since 1D days and pitted against everyone. Hilarious of them to think a teenager who signed up for a reality show to become a solo artist and has dated the likes of Swift, Jenner, Wilde and Kravitz is somehow exempt from the fame game. To think HS is the exception compared to his bandmates is peak comedy. He IS the fame game. i have another coworker who recently said she asked chatgpt for a recipe for roasted potatoes. as if there weren't countless of recipe websites out there. you could ask your best friend or your mom. what happened to just looking things up?? at this point i wouldn't be surprised if thinking for yourself and being able to do/make things without the help of ai would be a rare skill in about 5-10 years 🫩 (i'm probably being very generous here)

the gag is he hasn't said liam's name publicly in god knows how long while his fans apparently can't stop talking about liam. they have always been the most annoying part of the 1d fandom and somehow they got even worse since everyone went solo. even if i wanted to like him and be interested in his music his awful fans would keep me away from him.
