Hello! My name is Anna – I'm launching this campaign in support of my friend Shams and her family, who are in Gaza. Please consider helping,
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE:
Hello friends, after reaching halfway to my goal in the previous link,
a dispute occurred with the campaign organizer, and they closed the campaign, causing a loss of part of the funds.
Therefore, I need your renewed support on my new donation link.
You can check the old link at the bottom of the page.
I am Shams from Gaza, 17 years old, a girl from a family of 7. I was in my first year of high school before the war. I loved my family, my school, my friends, and life itself. But the war came and took everything I loved away.
The days have passed filled with loss and hunger. We no longer go to school—education has stopped, my school and home were bombed, and now my sister, her four daughters, and I all live in a single room.
We are struggling just to find a bite to eat, to have a roof that protects us from rain, rocket shrapnel, and the smell of gunpowder. Time passed, and I was supposed to take my final exams this year, but the war took away our right to education in every way.
We are facing the worst living conditions—insanely high prices for food, cleaning supplies, and medicine. We are displaced after losing our home. My father was injured while trying to find food; he suffers from a herniated disc in his back.
We are truly in need of help. Life here is almost impossible, and the conditions are extremely harsh. Please help me secure shelter, food, medical care, and at least a livable situation. A little from you can make a big difference.

look I’m not saying people are banned from writing taylor swift/charli xcx fanfiction, mostly bc that kind of argument’s never stopped anyone from writing fanfiction ever, I’m saying that going “teehee the girls are fighting let’s make them kiss” seems to be a careless and frankly, out of touch reaction to a white woman calling a brown woman a dog. That wasn’t toxic yuri, that was a microaggression
Swifties will really devote time and energy obsessing over every aspect of Taylor Swift's personal life, speculating over every detail in her song lyrics, and yet somehow have not developed the critical thinking skills or social awareness to realise how utterly fucking racially-coded "Opalite" is. Cos yall bitches are really out here claiming that the people, a lot of whom are Black women, pointing this out are being "extremist" and "brain damaged"
Swifties are so stupidly devoted to dissecting every aspect of Swift's life through her song lyrics and yet when people point out that her lyrics are microaggressive towards Black women, suddenly yall want to claim that, "it's not that deep!!"
She's either this deep poet (which denotes a level of intelligence and hence, intentionality) or a fun, silly popstar (which comes with a connotation of infantilisation, a sort of "shes just being silly, she didnt mean to write it to mean that"), which is it??
Also a "hmm interesting..." moment is realising that three of Taylor Swift's exes either have dated (Harry Styles with Taylor Russell) or are married to Black women after her (Calvin Harris with Vick Hope, Tom Hiddleston with Zawe Ashton) 🤔
A video that shows just how badly Taylor has fucked up her face 💀
Notice how her cheeks, eyebrows and forehead don’t move AT ALL in the second clip, because she’s literally paralysed her facial muscles to give herself that Mar-a-Lago look.
I don’t like commenting about someone’s appearance, but this is just…idk sad? A random short showed up on my YT feed where she was talking about the “open my thigh” lyric from “Wood” and she was laughing but it looked so eerie. Like her face was just paralysed!!! She was laughing but there was zero movement on her face as she laughed. Yeah sure if it’s helping her align with her MAGA besties ig
Am I insane or was the phrase 'girlboss too close to the sun' from a tumblr post? Like I swear someone used it in a tumblr post long before the TS song came out???
It was like that one about Greek myth that confused Icarus or icarly i think? Something along the lines of 'wasnt icarly that one who girlbossed to close to sun' or smth???
Swifties when they psychoanalyse Taylor’s lyrics and videos to figure out which one of her exes or woman she’s referring to and having self-made beef with : SHAKESPEARE OF OUR GENERATION!!! SONGWRITER OF OUR GENERATION!!! YOU JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND HER GENIUS, PICK UP A BOOK OR SOMETHING!!!
Swifties when other people dissect her lyrics and point out possible racist connotations, microaggressions and dog whistles in her lyrics : OH MY GOD, YOU’RE READING WAY TOO MUCH INTO THINGS IT’S NOT THAT DEEP ☠️
I'm sorry, "Life of a Showgirl" and it doesn't even have any old-timey vibes? No burlesque? Nothing? It's just about her boring ass boyfriend and MAGA friends?
Hello, my name is Nadin. I’m from Gaza. I’m a graphic design graduate, a wife—and now, a mother.
I finished my design studies just before the war began. I had dreams of starting a small studio, of creating art that told stories. I used to think about colors and fonts and the future.
Then, the war came. And the future became something we tried to hold onto, moment by moment.
On October 22, 2023, I learned I was pregnant when a missile destroyed my husband’s family home, killing 25 members—his mother, siblings, nieces and nephews—entire branches of our family in seconds.
We were displaced twice. Everything was gone—home, safety, routine, rest.
A few weeks later, I gave birth to our daughter. There was no crib, no celebration—not even stillness. But she arrived, quietly and beautifully. In her eyes I saw something I hadn’t felt in weeks: life that still wanted to grow.
Now, our days are shaped by decisions that could dismantle the future we are trying to build together.
Today, Israel’s government is discussing plans for a full military occupation of the Gaza Strip, including Gaza City and southern regions. The stated aim: to eliminate Hamas and later hand governing control to allied Arab forces—not Israel—but with no clear path to peace or normalcy.
The humanitarian fallout is devastating. More than 61,000 Palestinians have died in this war; hunger and malnutrition are rising sharply. Hospitals in north Gaza have shut down, and 193 people have now died of starvation, nearly half of them children.
Aid remains blocked, water is scarce, and many risk dying of hunger or disease long before future promises arrive.
We Don’t Know What Comes Next
There’s no clear path forward—only uncertainty for our daughter’s life and our ability to survive another day.
My name is Nadin, and I’m a mother from Gaza.
How You Can Help
I’m asking for support—not for comfort, but for survival:
Help us meet basic needs so we can breathe, heal, and preserve a world for our daughter.
Support us as I try to stand again on my own feet—even a glimmer of stability matters.
If you’ve read this far, thank you. If you can give—thank you. If you can’t—just sharing this post is a lifeline I will never forget.
My name is Saja. I’m a wife, a mother, and a woman who once believed her story would be simple. I thought my days would be filled with watching my daughter grow — from her first smile to her first steps — surrounded by the small joys of everyday life.
But life had other plans.
War has returned to our home. Again. And once again, we find ourselves living under skies that never seem to rest.
There was a moment — a fragile, breathless moment — when the bombs paused and the world seemed to remember us. It gave us hope. We thought maybe, just maybe, we could start to rebuild. But now, we are back in the dark — hiding, holding on, praying.
I’m writing this not as someone seeking pity, but as a mother who has no other choice but to speak.
Imagine holding your baby in the middle of the night, not because she cried, but because the world outside roared too loud for either of you to sleep. Imagine whispering bedtime stories not to lull her into dreams, but to keep the fear from settling into her tiny bones.
This is my life.
This is my daughter’s life.
And even now — especially now — I believe in softness. I believe in kindness. Because when everything else is taken from you, hope becomes the most valuable thing you have.
Why I’m Reaching Out Our home has been damaged. Our lives changed. But through it all, my daughter wakes up every morning with a smile. She reaches for me with trust, with love, with faith that I will keep her safe.
That’s why I keep going.
I’ve launched a campaign to ask for help — not because it’s easy, but because silence is no longer an option. I am asking for support not just for me, but for my baby, and for the quiet strength of so many mothers like me who are fighting, every single day, to hold their families together.
How You Can Help: 🤍 Help us restore parts of our home so we can live with dignity 🤍 Support women and mothers in Gaza with access to care and resources 🤍 Keep the light of hope alive for a generation born in the shadows of war
💛 If you can, please support our journey here:
My name is Saja. I am a mother, a wife, and just one of many women in Gaza trying to hold on — to hope, to my family, and to a life that no
If you can’t give, please consider sharing. Your voice might be the reason someone else hears ours.
From My Heart to Yours Maybe our lives are worlds apart. Maybe you’ve never lived through war. But if you’ve ever held a child and wished the world could be better for them — then you understand more than you know.
I don’t want my daughter to grow up thinking the world turned away.
Please, if you’ve read this far — thank you. Thank you for seeing us. Thank you for caring. We are still here. Still hoping. Still holding on to every kind act like it’s a lifeline.
Not sure if this is verified. I will tag the verifiers just in case. @gazavetters @gaza-evacuation-funds @northgazaupdates2 @bilal-sala7

💔🇵🇸 My Daughter Was Born Under Bombs — I'm Just Trying to Keep Her Alive
My name is Abdulmajid.
I got married one month before the war.
Those were beautiful days — full of hope, love, and simple dreams.
I dreamed of a small home, a quiet family, and a baby girl I could hold without fear.
But the war came…
Suddenly. Brutally.
My mother was killed.
My brother was killed.
Children in my family were taken by the bombs.
My home was destroyed.
And my work stopped completely.
Then… in the middle of this nightmare, my baby girl was born.
A tiny soul, innocent, unaware of the war.
She cries from hunger, from cold, from the sounds of bombs shaking what’s left of our walls.
Today, I’m a father with almost nothing…
Fighting every day to find flour, milk, or even a small meal to feed my child.
Prices are sky-high — a single 25kg bag of flour can cost $800.
There is no work. No income. No safety. No stability.
I write this from under siege, hoping my heart will reach yours.
My name is Abedmajed Elderawi, and I live in Gaza with what remains of my once large and loving family.
Even $1 can make a difference.
It can feed a child, buy milk, or bring a moment of peace.
Be the heart that reaches Gaza. Be the hand that saves.
📌 Please share this post. Let our voices be heard — not buried under rubble.

“How can we make this about Taylor while also sounding stupid as fuck?”
“Attended fundraisers for Gaza” she attended ONE (1) comedy show by Ramy Youssef in which the proceeds went to Gaza. She bought A ticket. Big deal. She’s a fucking billionaire.
“Donated millions to the hungry and homeless” and we always HEARD about it every time because it’s impossible for her to be charitable without alerting the media about it. Also guess what? She did ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOTHING as homeless people in Edinburgh were being displaced for her concerts.
“Advocates for lgbtq+ and black peoples rights” don’t make me fucking laugh. Literally all of her activism was confined to 2019-2020 and then she decided caring about other human beings wasn’t her thing anymore and now she’s best friends with Trumpies.
People on Twitter just pointed out how EASY it is to use your massive platform to do some good in the world and how Taylor doesn’t want to do that.
Is the “attended fundraisers for Gaza, donates millions to hungry and homeless, opposes Trump and advocates for lgbtq+ and black people’s rights” in the room with us now?
“Attended fundraisers for Gaza” as if that’s the most generous that billionaire bitch can be. One comedy show and the ticket costed what $200?? That’s the best she can do? Seriously? She’s a fucking billionaire!
Also when has she given two fucks about black people? She couldn’t care less about pocs, her nutcase fandom legit harassed a black up and coming actress for a dialogue she had no say over and all sweet miss billionaire activist did about that was…nothing!! Also swifties harassing Beyoncé on X on the regular??? Calling her slurs?? Activism where???
Yeah the people you surround yourself with define you and I’d like for her fans to point to ONE, just ONE person in her current circle that isn’t a Trumpie. People are calling her exactly what she is, a white MAGA billionaire nazi.
Look, if you're a fan of Taylor Swift, then this post might not be for you (especially if you're a diehard swiftie) so if you don't want to read something critical of your fav then skip this one. No need to interact with it. Just as you have a right to shower her in praise, I have the right to criticize her and actions/inactions. Also, I'm going to heavily criticize mainstream media and social media as a whole.
Now that I've gotten that warning out of the way, let's start. (You can't be mad at me for this post, swifties. If you're still reading this, you were warned.)
Firstly, I can't tell you how furious I am that media (especially here in the US) seem to care more about the engagement of a billionaire and her rich football boyfriend than the long list of actual real world problems that this country and the world as a whole are going through.
Fatal school shooting, the authoritarian takeover of the US by the MAGA Trump regime, innocent people being abducted off the streets by masked agents and thrown into concentration camps, GAZA, inflation, the housing crisis, wealth inequality, etc. Etc. Etc.
Nope, none of that matters now because Taylor is engaged. A blonde, white billionaire got engaged and that's all anyone can talk about now. Mainstream news media feels the need to have article after article about the engagement and social media is flooded with it.
All this fanfare for a women who cares only about herself, her optics, and her money. She doesn't care about her fans or anyone else for that matter. She takes her fans for everything they are worth by pushing dozens upon dozens of faux scarcity, "limited edition" varients, cheaply made merch at outrageous prices, and overpriced concert tickets. She preys on her fans "fomo". Her fans' money matters and that's it.
All the times she's donated to charity or the time she paid her staff for the Eras Tour were so she could get tax cuts. If it was purely out of the goodness of her heart, she and her people wouldn't tell the media about those donations. She wouldn't be doing photo ops at children's hospitals in her full glam version of casual. There are plenty of celebrities who donate to charities/schools/etc. and keep it tight lip. They don't brag to anyone they can about their "good deeds" i.e. Dolly Parton (who donates her money towards books and school supplies for underprivileged kids). Taylor donates money because of tax write offs and because it makes her look like "America's Sweetheart".
Honestly, there are so many more things I can criticize her about but I'm going to stop here. I think I've made my point.
Lastly, as someone with her social status and power, she could easily speak out about Gaza, or what's happening under the current US administration, Ukraine, etc. but she chooses to be silent on all of it. One announcement about a new album and every god damn company/corporation latched onto it and flooded social media with their own God awful orange version of shameless self promotion. An engagement announcement and every news outlet runs a whole section on television news and posts multiple articles each about it as if she's the second coming of Christ. Hell, Jesus could've returned to earth the day of the engagement and no one would know because of how much everyone excessively worships Taylor. Anyway, what I'm saying is she has power, despite what swifties like to claim. She could do the bare minimum by making a post about Palestinian or any of the other problems we are all witnessing and that would motivate so many people and corporations (who have political and monetary pull) to work toward some sort of good change and push back against the authoritarians and their horrible actions. Other celebs, like Olivia Rodrigo (fights for the autonomy rights of women), have no where near the societal power Taylor has, and yet they still speak out and put their money where their mouth is despite whatever backlash they receive. Taylor chooses to stay silent and honestly that doesn't surprise me. After all, look at who she's been hanging out with recently and who she considers her friends (many of them are openly MAGA and very problematic).
And I don't want to hear anymore swiftie excuses about that. "She can't control who her boyfriend hangs out with" or "Well Travis has to work with them" or "She doesn't want to cause friction". She can control who she dates and she can control who she surrounds herself with. Taylor is not some helpless little girl with no agency. Swifties stop infantalising this grown ass 35 year old woman.
As a final point to any swiftie who is somehow still reading this: swifties may not want to hear this, but Taylor Swift only cares about herself. She isn't your friend or your "mother". She doesn't know or care that you exist. You are dollar signs to her. A monetary number. That's it. She doesnt need anymore of your money.
Look, you can enjoy her music but you don't have to sell your soul, your morals, and your financial stability for her. You don't have to tie yourself into knots to defend her. You can like her music and be critical of her at the same time. Being critical of her doesn't mean you now have to hate her or stop listening to her music. If you admire her as much as you do then you should hold her accountable for her silence and lack of action on important issues just as you would anyone close to you in your day to day life. The sooner swifties realize that, the better off they'll be.
"Father Figure" is a song George Michael released while he was still in the closet at a time in the UK when you could be arrested for having consensual gay sex in a hotel room and many gay men were disowned by their own fathers. He allowed people to believe it was about an older man creeping on an underage girl because that was actually more socially acceptable than being gay at the time.
I do not think Taylor Swift, who is as heterosexual and privileged as a woman can possibly be, is emotionally or intellectually capable of handling that piece of queer history with the care and nuance it deserves. I think it's appalling she would even touch it. I'm guessing she will strip it down for parts and make it about herself, a straight woman.
Straights: if a song by a queer artist says "love can be mistaken for a crime", please just accept that not everything is for you to take and profit from.
